| That's difficult, I have two. While others may not appreciate Stephanie Myers for her Twilight series, I have never read a more engrossing and complete novel that could mix body snatcher aliens and romance so perfectly as The Host. I am just continually amazed how she could depict the feelings of one of the aliens not as just a parasite but as a living creature that just has different ideals than us humans. Each time i read the book its like i'm reading it for the first time.
Also, The Telling Pool by David Clement-Davies is also a fantastic story. This one gets points for me in different categories than The Host. I love this novel for having such a great atmosphere about it of medieval England and this sort of mysterious magic that is added just enough so that its believable. The character really goes through a coming-of-age as he travels through a very dark world.

| This is tough. I'd have to say it's a three way time between "One Flew over the Cuckoos Nest" "1984" and "A Dirty Job" | |

| This is tough. It's either The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins or A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket.
I think the second book series but only because I think that Mockingjay wasn't as good as the first two in the Hunger Games series.
