Characters that you can relate to.....

Everybody has that one or two fictional characters they can relate to so what's yours? They can be from about anything (Anime, manga, books, TV shows, video games, movies, etc.). Just say the name of the character along with with the title of where they come from and a valid reason why you can relate to them~.

For me, probably Hanataro from Bleach. I'm a complete klutz who can't fight worth crap and I usually mess up everything. Rofl

Martha Jones from Doctor Who.

Here are things we have in common:

Well, for starters, we both have families that argue all the time.

She, like me uses her time with a friend as a way of escaping that but then ends up falling in love with them.

She is with someone that her mother doesn't approve of.

She doesn't let men run her life; even if she loves someone from the bottom of her heart, and wants them so badly, she'll forget what she wants, to remember what she deserves.

She's intelligent and independent. She doesn't rely on the Doctor. There was one point when the Master took over the world and sent these aliens to kill 1/10 of the population and Martha. Her family had been captured and so had the Doctor, and she managed to fend for herself for a whole year with little knowledge on aliens.

She is good at surviving but sometimes lets emotions get in the way.

Everyone I know who's seen this show compares me to her.

Kuronuma "Sadako" Sawako
from Kimi no Todoke

Sawako is a relatable character for me because of her antics and some of her personality traits. Sometimes, it's to the point where I can imagine myself doing such a thing.
Sawako is a teen girl who is very quiet, shy, and a bit gloomy which causes people to think she's rather scary or sometimes a bit angry and mean. However, she just wishes to fit in and have friends like any normal teenage girl (She's actually pretty sweet).

I will admit it... I'm pretty quiet and shy myself, I have trouble talking to people normally. I'm, as I would say, a "awkward turtle" when it comes to conversion...
Because of this, it seems that people take me as a snobby, gloomy, boring, or angry person at first, however it's just because I have trouble speaking up. I'm a coward, I'll admit it. I just silently do things rather than talking to the person, maybe muttering a few things here and there but rarely.
I just want to make true friends though, since I've had lots of friendship problems sadly... It seems I get boring easily, because lots of people who I begin talking to find another person and just avoid me... My friends mean a lot to me and I wish to show that (But I'm not sure how, I never really got to that stage... I have brought lots of gifts for my friends before though like real silver jewelery, clothes/hats, and/or anime crap).
As for the kind personality Sawako truly has, I'm not sure about myself... Lots of people who I rarely talk to do tell me that I'm very kind, along with my family, but I don't really believe them. I don't feel like a kind person that much. I just do things that I think is right sometimes... I guess that is considered kind by others' standards?

Characters that you can relate to..... Vriskaposes

Vriska Serket: Homestuck

Vriska Serket is perceived by many of the Homestuck fanbase to be a giant bitch. Which she can be. But she has reasons behind all her bitch. She's manipulative, violent, and somewhat arrogant.

I'm not afraid to admit these things. As a person I am manipulative, arrogant, and a bitch. Although I am not violent, and avoid violence as much as possible, I wouldn't really call that a difference between me and her, because Vriska's a Cerulean blooded troll. Who by genetic disposition and being a troll would be violent regardless.

She has some problems with relations. Judging by her attempt to reconcile with Aradia. And I do as well. I have quite literally no friends in real live, save for my best friend, and my boyfriend. Both of which I have no idea how they tolerate me.

I've had friends in the past, like Vriska, but I usually wound up pissing them off so much with my attitude that they just flat out ignore me now. And we both have horrible luck.

However we do have some redeeming qualities about us. Vriska knows when to accept responsibility for her actions, like the time she tried to take down Jack in a doomed timeline, and genuinely cares for the friends that she does have. Likewise I really do love the IRL friends I have. And of course, if I do something that has negative repercussions, I will take responsibility for it. That's called being mature.

This is kinda an odd one, but Omid from 'The Walking Dead' (the game).

The guy spends more time trying to joke around and lighten the mood when things get tense then he does worrying about zombies.

I relate to that in a big way. When things get tense, I try to joke around to lighten the mood. If people start panicking, to keep myself from panicking, I joke around and try to make them laugh. Sometimes it's snarky or sarcastic or just flat out a stupid observation over a situation that's stressing people out.

It's a fail safe on my part and part of me thinks it's the same with Omid. Never really cared for tense air, so why keep it around?

Dist the Reaper/Rose/Runny (aka Saphir Wyon Gniess) ~ Tales of the Abyss

There are actually two other characters I can relate to easily in the game/anime - that being Tear and Ion - but you guys probably saw this coming. XD Despite his extreme vanity and arrogance, I do act a lot like him.

I am rather intelligent (or so I'm told), I don't forget negative past events (even small ones), I hold grudges against people who have truly hurt me, I dream of getting revenge against those people, I had a best friend who stabbed me in the back by saying I'm useless, I can have a very bad temper at times...I think that's it. So...yay, mad scientists!
