| So, I was thinking about a lot of various things at work the other day. One of them was of the things people have told me that have stuck with me and things that I've lived by because of it. I thought it'd be a nice little event if anyone would like to share their own tidbits of life lessons - either those they've learned by themselves or those they've heard elsewhere. If you can be sure to give credit where credit is due! I'll start off with some of mine. #001 : "Love is a lot like Pokemon. You're going to get a starter, and it's going to mean a lot to you, but throughout the game, you'll run into a lot more pokemon. Some you'll use a Pokeball to get them, and others you'll get with a Greatball or even an Ultraball. You're going to run into a couple of rare pokemon and a few legendary pokemon, but no matter what you're going to do, you will always save your Masterball. Save your Master ball for that one pokemon, that one pokemon that is truly legendary." - Nekodah Whipkey (friend of mine)
#002: "Learn from others' mistakes; life's too short to make them all on your own!" - Mr. Drotar (old teacher of mine)
#003: "Never apologize for not being as fast or as strong as someone else *because in the end you're doing something only 2% of Americans have ever done." - Staff Sergeant William Haddix, JR.*Last part applies to those trying for or in the USMC.

| I'm sure I've said these to more than a handful of people~
# 001 : "It can't rain all the time." I first heard it from my sister and have yet to find who first spoke such amazing words.
# 002 : "See, people that bring you down are like jelly fish that are jealous of your epicness and we're like oysters that hide in our shells when those jelly fish come by. So what we got to do is throw our pearls at those jelly fish and be like, whatever man leave me alone." Miker, dear friend silly brother.
# 003 : "There is always room for jello so there isn't room left for jealousy." The Josh, my other brother.

| "Sometimes you have to forget what you want, to remember what you deserve." I found this quote online but it never said who said it. Shame.
Same goes for the following quote: "If you ignore me, I will ignore you. If you don't start the conversation, we won't talk. If you don' put the effort in, then why should I?"
These are both relationship quotes xD Both from the same site but the site doesn't say who says them.

| Alright, I've got another - this one I say myself and if anyone's said it and it's been immortalized in a quote beforehand I don't know about it.
#004 "Don't expect others to do what you're not willing to do yourself."
