i'm sorry for this but I got some questions and I don't know anyone else to ask but the admins on here.

one: how did you guys get the [center ] thingy to be like it is on this forum?

~~two: how do I change the 7 days wait to post links?~~ nvm on this one.

That's actually a simple answer to give. When you click on the centered bbcode button - which I assume is what you're doing - you may notice it just gives you forum help Center

but if you look the button you clicked is still red.

What you want to do there is to click it again to receive the end code once you're done typing your message; forum help Center3

Similarly you can just type in forum help Center

and

at the beginning and end of whatever you want centered as well.

I know the bbcode but on this forum is seems different.

Like if I click on the buttom, it's centers it for me without having to type of the code for center. plus when I click it, it centers it without the code appearing.

Is there a code to get the bottoms to do that or something?

Or am I not saying this question right?

Hmmm..... I'm not quite sure why that's happening, I've never had it happen to me on this site before....

Instead of clicking on the button, have you tried typing in the tags that you need and see if that works when you post a message?

this is me typing out the tags

I noticed this when i posted my beyblade one-shot. I didn't need to type out the tags.

I click it and the para that I'm on, centers itseft without showing the tags in the message as I type.

I'll do a sceenshoot and see if you see who I'm talking about.

It looks as if typing out the tags, while it may be irritating after awhile, works. As long as you can do that manually you shouldn't have a problem.

I'm not sure why it would do that. Had you copy&pasted it over? I know on Firefox, copy&pasting things onto the message box ends up automatically formatting it how it was from where I copied it from.

it is annoying to always type out the tabs but they do work.

I don't always copy and past things onto forums. I use firefox but it doesn't always work. It didn't really on my twilight one-shot. Even though I had to edit it a bit for younger readers, it didn't auto anything. I had to center a few arounds but I didn't have to do anything else to it oddly.

Are you using Fire Fox? If so, the fix is actually quite simple. Click on the button shown in this image below:

When a certain editor mode is enabled, it causes that issue. I had a long time trying to figure out why it was doing it myself, whenever I was on Fire Fox. Really annoying.
