Avengers rp [one/one]

When the order was given to assemble, Yuri was in her room, animating the random objects she had in her room. An old teddy bear, a toy soldier, a T-shirt, just things to keep her occupied. She was alerted by Commander Fury via phone that she was needed in the briefing room. So she carefully stepped over the animated toys, and out of her room. She had to return half way to the meeting room however because of the toy soldier sneaking a ride in her pockets, but made it to the briefing room relatively soon.

She was third to get there, preceded by Natasha, her fellow Russian agent turned good-guy, and Clint. And she took her seat on Natasha's side, watching the door to see who else would be coming. She knew Tony would make a flashy entrance. Probably via window, as was his style, and he didn't stay in SHIELD H.Q. full time. She had no idea weather Bruce would even show up. Last she heard of him he was in some remote corner of the world doing some kind of charity work.

What broke her out of her thoughts was the surprisingly tame entrance of Tony Stark. He wasn't donning his Ironman suit, and with a few sarcastic words he took his relatively early seat.

"I didn't know we were having a party. If I did I would have brought something to drink." He said, earning an ever so slightly narrowed eye from Fury. The man knew that Stark wouldn't ever ease up on the sarcastic comments, but there was a time and a place for such things.

Tamara had been in the middle of training when she had been called upon, a part of a larger group she was told and to get to the designated meeting room A.S.A.P. Even still she was one of the latter half to show, her hair tied back in a messy ponytail at the nape of her neck and still rather warm from her training. Natasha, Clint, another woman who Tamara had glimpsed but never knew the name of, and Tony Stark occupied the room alongside Director Fury already. She nodded at everyone, brow raised as to what might be happening that would require the well-known Avenger group to be called upon.

"So, whose party are we crashing now?" Tamara questioned, a hand on her hip as she took a spot off to the side.

"If you could exercise that patience I know you have you might find out soon enough," Director Fury answered simply, a look to him that said he was not about to put up with the snarky comments today.

Tamara shrugged, taking a head count again. Rogers would most likely show up soon enough, gathered by one of the other agents for Director Fury. Would Professor Banner show? Tamara had little thought about the Asgardian - off in his own world it would be hard-pressed to locate and contact him in need, after all.

Glancing around again, Tamara inclined her head to the other woman, her blonde hair pulled back out of her face in a neat ponytail. "Suppose we're place fillers, hmm?"

"Is there a problem with that?" Director Fury inquired, his own brow raising as if to make sure this was cleared up now and not later.

Tamara held up a hand, shrugging again. "Not at all, just like to know where I stand is all."

"That seems to be the case." Yuri said. "I believe the Doctor is doing charity work in a remote part of the globe." She offered. Yuri didn't really blame him. After how uncomfortable the whole experience with Loki was for all the the Avengers (literally they were a ticking time bomb that thankfully went off at the right person) she couldn't say she wouldn't have dropped off the face of the earth herself.

"Who would have thought the American poster child would be the last one here." Tony mused with a cocky laugh following.

"I should be saying the same about you. Who would have thought you wouldn't be the last one here. Isn't that more your style?" Natasha retorted.

It was quite entertaining for Yuri to listen to Tony's witty banter with Natasha. Who obviously wasn't all that in to it. She just supposed it killed time, and suspense. They were all wondering why they were called in. And since they were literally assembled, it had to be something important. Aseptically if she was called in to be a place holder. That would mean they needed who ever's place she's holding to be present. And she'd be charged with relaying the information to whoever it was.

Yuri just hoped it wasn't Thor. She'd have a hard time contacting him if that was the case.

Director Fury nodded towards the blonde. "That he is," he answered, shifting his weight from foot to foot. "And until we have a dire need of him than he'll be left to his own devices."

Tamara watched the man for a moment, trying to divine just why this might be. Director Fury left no room to glean any of his thought processes from his expression. Perhaps it was solely as thanks for Professor Banner's help the last time around. Tamara saw no other reason for not calling upon him, after all.

She turned her attention to Stark, a raised brow. "What did have you coming so unfashionably early?" she taunted dryly. Unless the stakes were raised so high it wasn't like him to be this gun-ho about following protocols from another. What was he thinking?

The door slipped open again allowing a heavily breathing Steve Rogers inside. He nodded around at everyone, looking sheepish. He strode towards the table, taking a seat as he caught his breath. "Sorry," he said, meeting everyone's gaze as best he could. "Got caught up in traffic."

Tamara scoffed, shaking her head a little. She wouldn't have thought that would be the thing to hold him up. Then again she supposed traffic was worse now than when it was his time. Sometimes it was easy he was the 'man straight out of time.'

Steve glanced around at everyone. He wasn't surprised that Thor hadn't shown. How could he without the tesseract? Still, he hoped that the man was doing alright back at his own home, untouched by earth's troubles.

"Waiting on anyone?" he prodded curiously. Professor Banner wasn't here either. Was that on purpose? He could only assume, what with the two dames he didn't recognize. "Or is this the whole team?"

"This would be the whole team unless Thor shows or Professor Banner is required," Director Fury nodded.

"I see," Steve nodded, meeting each woman's gaze politely. He earned a nod from the brunette and the blonde looked decidedly more friendly than the other. He hoped it wouldn't cause any problems this time around. They had had their share of troubles the first time a ragtag group like this had come together.
