Personality: Keeping to herself very few know Marissa very well. For many in Umbrella she seems like someone who is content to remain on the sidelines. Outside of business, Marissa is often on her own or with her squad. If anyone has seen through to the 'core' of who she is remains a mystery. She can be quite quick-thinking and witty when she feels the need to speak up, though it depends on her mood if she does or not. Other times she can have quite the temper, annoyed easily.

Strangely protective of her own squad, Marissa can go from standing in the background, barely noticed to in one's face and chewing them out for something they said or did. When it comes to herself Marissa lets insults slide, even oftentimes insulting herself. If this stems from a low self-esteem or merely as a bid to make others underestimate her is anyone's best guess. Marissa refuses to let it be known one way or another.

History: Not much worth of note has been done in Marissa's past. At one point she was a runaway, hiding away from the police for some time before she was brought back home several days later. Up until middle school Marissa was considered quite intelligent, performing aptly in school and receiving honor roll each report card. After this her glades slide downwards causing many to forego any intelligence she might have. Left alone for the most part her middle and high school days were not without her own share of bullies, as many go through. She's long since moved past much of it, however, other than the odd recollection here and there.

When she was contacted by Umbrella Marissa jumped at the chance to get out of her dead end part time jobs. Why they chose to locate her and recruit her remain a mystery to Marissa to this day, however.

Notable Facts:
- Cheshire is on double rat(ion)s due to the fact that she has a high metabolism.
- As scrawny as she is, Cheshire also is rather small-boned. Despite her training she runs a higher risk of breaking a bone if she is in direct combat than others might.
