Borderlands Group RP 2/ Idea Thread

Subject: Borderlands Group RP 2/ Idea Thread Thu Apr 02, 2015 11:57 am

Since Canned is on board with another group rp, I figure we mind as well start tossing ideas around!

Namely because I have none and I only have remotely like...two love interests in the entire series so I don't know what I'm gonna do yet. ;w;

So if you guys have any ideas, start throwing them out and I'll...scramble for something!

I don't have any ideas per say though I'd really love to see Canned's rendition of Jack for this rp, if that's all right with everyone. So, I'll be playing Oki's love interest this round and Oki would be Wilhelm if we're good with that.

I'll, of course, be using Naira for this rp too.

For Naira and Jack, and this goes for any of the rps with those two in them, I figure we could have Naira acting as kind of a morality chain in that she frequently has to talk him down from doing something too bad/morally questionable though isn't entirely successful at times given Jack's psycopathy.

This can be subverted at times given that Oki and I were planning on toying with Naira being something of a psychopath as well so she wouldn't always talk him down from something if she herself didn't think it's too bad.

Oh golly I'm super excited to write for Jack! It's going to be really interesting to do!

Oh I like that for Jack, he could really start going off and Naira could bring him back to whats right and wrong. What if for Naira during these psychotic moments she uses her own view on whats morally correct? So it's twisted in it's own way and could even be better or worse.

I was actually thinking about that myself, it'd just be incorporating it as we go~!

So, do we have any ideas to share with Oki? She's lacking and struggling with some for this round of the rp. XP

Hmmm~ If we set the time of the rp to in between the Pre-Sequel and Borderlands 2 maybe we could incorporate Zer0 into the story for Oki!

That could work, have Jack scarred up and masked and Wilhelm more robot than ever... We'd just need to come up with some mini-plot(s) to run with other than Jack taking over Pandora bit by bit and all!

That's the only con I see in it, we're gonna need to make some really rad mini-plots to keep things going! I'm drawing a blank right now but I'm sure we can think of something!

Like I was saying on Skype, I've got an angle now of the Oc being the daughter of some president in a high up company who's father hires Zer0 to escort her to another building or something. And having employee's in the building just flat out try to kill her after he delivers here there, finds out, and has to rush back to continue his job.

So in the midst of all that, we'll have these people trying to take her fathers position and trying to murder her so she can't take anything that was meant for her after PLUS a father who thinks that the body guard he hired just kidnapped his daughter.

Figure that would be enough to work with given that Zer0 wasn't actually in the plot of the Pre-sequel. lmao

That actually sounds really fun it'll give Zer0 an interesting dilemma of following orders through and having to protect her from the man who hired him. Especially if he think it was some kinda con from Gypsy's father.

I think it will too, since he's obviously so driven on merely doing his missions and getting it over well. Doubly so if the Oc only knows minimal things on survival~.
