03. Desperation

Tomoyo stared in awe as the virus, Love Machine, that Wabisuke had created. He had already taken over thousands - no, millions - of Oz accounts in such a short time. He had messed up everything; thousands of companies had been affected, and though she herself was not a relative, the family's 90 year old elder died because of it. Now he was about to take Kazuma's avatar, known as "King Kazma", which may be their only hope to defeat Love Machine.

She finally snapped out of her thoughts and got her DSi out and running, logging into the now dangerous online community. Not long later, a Ancient Greek-like avatar appeared on the screen to help King Kazma.

"Wait..What are you doing Tomoyo?!" Kazuma said, not bothering to look away from the screen as he tried to regain control of his avatar, which seemed to be unresponsive.

"You may just be our only hope to beat this guy, I'm not letting him take your avatar too!" she said, her own avatar trying to pull King Kazma away from the approaching virus. Yet, it was no use. No matter how hard Tomoyo's avatar tried to get him away, she couldn't. Soon, both avatars were taken by Love Machine.

"Oh, no..."
