Throbbing was the first thing that broke through, bringing her back to awareness. It was a slow process, the noises of crowds nearby becoming more prevalent the more she took stock of her surroundings. Even just forcing her eyes open was a chore, the sunlight forcing them closed again moments later. It was only until she'd shaded them with a hand, forcing herself up on her elbow did she peek at her surroundings.

What greeted Shana were not the trees and rocks that she'd been expecting. Instead buildings rose up around her, and even an old wooden fence nearby, blocking whatever crowds milled around the streets past them from Shana's view. Her brow puckered, mouthing words of disbelief. Even the sounds didn't ring true to her. She could hear no cars or air conditioners, despite the fact that it was at least seventy degree weather.

Shana even noted that the air smelled cleaner, though she couldn't begin to say why. Pushing herself up to her feet, she brushed the dirt off her clothes, making her way towards what she hoped was a main street. Perhaps there she'd be able to make some sense of where she'd ended up.

In truth, all she could recall was finding some old piece of silver and a flash of light greeted her and her friends. Where had they ended up? Worry flashed through Shana, forcing a lump in her throat. Were they safe? Her pace quickened at the thought of either of them in danger because she'd had the bright idea to venture off the beaten path.

She stopped mid-step as she caught sight of those wandering the streets. Some were already shooting her strange looks and Shana wasn't surprised why. Unlike the fashion Shana had expected the people wandering the dirt and cobblestone streets were dressed like those she'd see in an old timey movie or in a history book.

Eyes darting to and fro, looking for some sight of her friends Shana couldn't help but to notice what could only be military force with how they marched in tie with one another eyeing her already. The wariness on their faces was hard to miss. Shana quickly hurried off, not eager to find out if those old bayonet rifles of theirs worked or not.

What's with the blast from the past? she wondered, half-afraid of the answer. Had she and her friends stumbled upon something they shouldn't have? Shana was beginning to think that was the case.

----[x]----
Kadar was unsure of where he was leading his brother. He'd seen something strange from a distance and had wanted to check it out. Malik had been hesitant on the matter though Kadar had eventually broken his elder brother down. Now he was leading Malik through the streets of Masyaf towards the road outside it.
"I am positive I saw something strange!" he defended, glancing over his shoulder at Malik. Malik still looked unconvinced.
Instead Kadar turned back to the sloping path, speeding up his pace to a jog. The sooner they got to whatever it was the sooner Malik would stop being so grouchy. Still, it seemed now-a-days Malik always was so hard to please.
Instead of focusing on why Malik was always so grumpy anymore, Kadar began to wonder what they might find. There was no way of knowing until they got to whatever had flashed so brightly, however. Perhaps it was that alone that caused Kadar to want to find out.

William had been wandering the streets when the flash of light caught his attention. A frown marred his lips. He'd never seen anything like it. The light had flashed so brightly and simply disappeared as if it had not been there at all.

William knew that it was not from a weapon or canon. Nothing in the military could produce a light that bright. Even if that had been the case, the sound of fire would have echoed across the land.

No, this was something entirely different.

The Frenchman could not stifle his curiosity for this light. He started toward the area, wondering just what had produced it. There were whispers already. Others had witnessed it and he had no doubt that they would. If someone did miss it, he would have considered them blind fools.

Carefully, he weaved his way through the crowds. The closer he got to the area where the light had appeared, the more talk there was. There was talk of a girl getting up, wearing strange clothing. That enough gave him something to go on. It seemed that perhaps that light had dropped off something interesting.

Eventually, he halted, watching from the streets. She was easy to catch drifting the crowds. Caution marred her features, her gaze drifting from one place to the next.

William started forward carefully though, he still held an air of confidence to him. He walked tall, proud even. As he followed closely behind her, he watched her carefully.

"You appeared lost." He spoke up, catching the woman's attention much to her surprise.

----[x]----

Pain shooting through Delia was the first things she'd noticed. She groaned, rolling to her side. A fit of coughs left her, as if she couldn't get air in her lungs. Eventually is passed, leaving her to suck in a deep breath. The sun beating down was too hot.

Her eyes still screwed shut, trying to ignore the pain throbbing in her head, she pushed herself up. Her knees were tucked underneath her when she finally was able to slowly open her eyes again. She shielded the sun light the best she could with her hand.

Alarm immediately shot through her. She glanced around the area, finding nothing familiar. In fact, the place she had lived before seemed long gone. This place appeared to be more desolate, more like a desert.

Her heart seemed to thud in her ears, panic taking hold. Pushing herself to her feet, she nearly stumbled backward. Her gaze flickered about, trying to make heads or tails of all of this. This wasn't home. What had happened?

Delia didn't get the chance to ponder over it all. Nearby laid Mary. Panic was quick to settle on her again as she rushed to her friends side. She knelt down, placing a hand on the younger woman's shoulder. She had been a sickly girl throughout her life. She worried that whatever happened might bring about some illness again.

"Mary!" She urged, shaking her awake as gently as she could manage. "Mary, you've got to get up!"

Delia's gaze shot around again. Shana, their friend, was not here. She swallowed the lump that formed in her throat, worry settling onto her features.

What had happened?

Malik was grumbling to himself as he followed his younger brother. Kadar had seen something strange in the sky, and was dragging him along. It was a little too far fetched for him to believe. A glowing light appearing in the sky out of nowhere? This did seem very unusual - almost impossible. In the end when Kadar had told him of such an event - no matter how hesitant he seemed - he caved in and agreed to investigate; he wouldn't have stopped bothering him otherwise.

The streets were crowded with the townsfolk; another busy morning as usual it seems. Glaring at his brother's back Malik spoke up with a tone mostly formed of annoyance. "Are you absolutely positive you saw something strange?" to which his brother had replied with a defense.

Still seeming unconvinced the man crossed his arms and heaved a sigh as they walked. His brother was young and a tad naive. Whenever Kadar had found something of interest to investigate, he always dragged him along. At times it was near impossible to make Kadar leave him alone, and so he would cave in to his younger brother. It was a tiresome cycle - one that near frustrated him.

To his knowledge this was the most ridiculous subject he's heard yet.

The man already had a tiring morning as is. The hot weather wasn't helping lighten his mood.

The moment his brother started jogging, Malik inherently groaned to himself. His brother was getting excited - almost a little too excited. Soon speeding up to a jogging pace himself he followed closely down the slope. Whatever this 'light' was, it definitely captured the man's attention. "This better be worth it, Kadar." he breathed out as the two jogged down the slope.

Soon enough they reached a large opening of ground where two figures were right there in the open. Almost in an instant it was strange to him. They appeared feminine; one seemed to be shaking the other, almost desperately as if trying to wake them up.

Why were they so out in the open?

Malik had then noticed that their clothing was very strange. It wasn't of their origin - that much was for certain. "Is this perhaps what you were talking about...?" Malik asked with caution.

Muscles were numb, too weak to move. Mary was in a slumber; the only sign of movement was her chest slowly moving up and down with each slow breathe she took. Whatever pain that was lingering was numb to her; the impact wasn't settling in quite yet.

A hand was placed on her shoulder, someone beginning to shake her gently. With each shake the girl had began to stir awake. The familiarity of the voice seemed apparent. The first name that had come to the woman's mind was 'Delia'.
The beams of sunlight on her skin began to warm her. Her breathing began returning to the normal rate. Mary's eyes fluttered open slowly as the familiar voice released her from the short stasis she was in.

A hand placed onto her head, the woman pushed herself up with her elbow groaning with pain. The pounding of her head would not cease to stop. The disadvantage of being sickly was never easy for Mary. She had to be more cautious with what she did, more careful, and more slow paced.

What vision was once a blur for a moment or two now returned to normal. A desolate land was what greeted her gaze instead of their humble streets of their home. Confusion immediately shot through her, and then worry. Immediately looking to her side was Delia to her relief, but Shana wasn't here.
"Delia...? Where are we? Where's Shana?" the younger woman asked with worry. The blonde was still feeling the lingering pain and headache. All that she remembered was that she, Delia, and Shana had come across a shining object on the streets of their home. Then a blinding light engulfed them, and now they were here in this foreign land.

Shana hadn't been expecting anyone to talk to her, not openly at least. She was an oddity, something to be observed from afar. At least, that was how the city's people were treating her. She didn't make any attempts to reach out to any of them. Already a couple of them were whispering to one another about her behind their hands as it was.

As such when a voice did rise up, close behind her even, Shana jumped, whirling around. Her heart stutter-stepped in her chest hard, blood rushing like a drumbeat in her ears. Only when she caught sight of the man and the way he seemed to regard her more with curiosity than wariness did Shana's heart begin to slow.

"Why would you do that?!" she shouted in frustration. She seriously could not understand what would possess someone to sneak up so closely to someone. Was he intentionally attempting to frighten her?

Finally Shana exhaled, taking the time to examine him. He was dressed in dark clothes. In fact they looked much nicer than any of those around them. He had a hood pulled up to shadow his features and a tricorn hat atop that.

Her hand found its way to her hip, running a hand through her wavy hair. It was messy, as always, a brush run hastily through it and nothing more. Despite the way they were so differently dressed it it was easy to spot which of the two was more immaculate in their appearance.

"Is there something you want?" she prodded, sparing a quick glance around them.

----[x]----
It seemed longer than it was to Kadar before they were outside of Masyaf and heading in the right direction down the path. There were very few out here today. No one was coming or going besides the two brothers. Kadar picked up his pace as he caught sight of two figures in the distance. They were in about the right spot that he'd seen that light.
"There!" he shouted, gesturing to them. Kadar briefly spared a glance at Malik. "I'm sure it will be worth it!"
As he grew nearer Kadar's pace slowed. He couldn't be sure the woman who was awake and attempting to rouse her partner would not have some sort of a hidden weapon on them. Times were strange and people adapted to them. That was the way of the world.
"Hey?" he called out, more question than anything. "Are you alright?"
He waved briefly at the two. The smaller of the two seemed to be rousing, looking around herself. They were both strange, dressed in odd clothing. Where had they come from? Had something been otherworldly with that light or were they just foreign and there had been nothing but Kadar's imagination for the flare of light?
The two seemed on edge though Kadar wasn't sure why. Where they just as confused as he was? It almost seemed like that.

William had foresaw the reaction that he had received. Most did not care to be snuck up on. She appeared to be the same, jumping rather easily when he had spoken to her. William snorted in amusement at that.

He motioned toward her carefully, shaking his head. "I merely asked if you were lost." He repeated.

William raised an eyebrow, studying this woman a little more closely. Much of her skin was exposed, an oddity. Most women were clothed in dresses, something that he would have been rather insistent upon himself. Regardless, whoever she was, she remained confident.

"Might I ask your name? Where are you from?"

They were simple questions. William believed that light had brought her here. These were not clothes of this period. She looked very different despite the times. He couldn't help but study her again.

"You've gained quite a few admirers." He motioned, motioning toward those who looked on.

It was obvious she already knew this much. Whatever she thought of it however remained silent.

----[x]----

Delia's heart hammered against her chest. Mary was slowly rousing herself. She couldn't resist a sigh of relief. She didn't appear seriously injured, though it took her several long moments to get into a sitting position.

She shook her head, a hard frown marring her lips. "I don't know," she answered in return. "Shana wasn't here with us...I don't know where we are..."

Delia tensed, pushing herself to her feet. She motioned for Mary to stay where she was. She glanced at the pair who were standing nearby. Both had dark skin and hair. She furrowed her eyebrows. She tried to place their accents, swallowing hard as she did so.

She gave a simple shake of her head in a silent response. It was the most she could manage, trying to clear her head. Neither would be considered 'alright'.

"We..." She glanced back toward Mary, studying her expression. "We're not exactly sure where we are...more over how we got here..."

Delia hoped these two were not hostile. They didn't appear to be, neither making a move to confront them. Whoever they were, they remained at a distance just as Delia and Mary did.

The moment Kadar called out to the two, Malik glanced at his brother. Obviously he wasn't happy with what he had just done; his expression clearly portrayed aggravation mixed with frustration. "What are you doing? You can't just call out to them!" he warned.

To his dismay, he knew he was already more involved in this than he'd like to be. It seemed there was no stopping events from moving forward now.

It seemed that this indeed was what Kadar had been talking about before. If Malik put his mind to it, the light must have come from those two. From the corner of his eye he could see Kadar waving to them. He was almost too innocent for his own good. Malik breathed heavily through his nose and simply gazed upon the figures.

The two groups were keeping their distances which meant that they must have been just as confused in this situation. Their clothing was truly strange, yet their emotions could be easily read. The taller of the two replied to Kadar; she was unsure of where they were. What captured his interest was the fact that they haven't the faintest idea how they got here.

It seems that they would have to investigate them at a steady pace. Taking a few steps forward Malik spoke to them trying to keep a warmth to his tone. "What are your names? We'll..." he paused mid-sentence and captured a quick glance to his brother before continuing. "We would like to help you figure out what happened." he mostly breathed out knowing that behind his back was Kadar smiling right at him.

- - - - - { X } - - - - -

Mary had eventually fixed herself into a sitting position. Her knees touched together as she let the hand on her head fall to the ground beside her. Looking up to Delia, the younger woman frowned when she answered. Shana is nowhere to be seen; not even Delia knew.

Almost hanging her head Mary let out a soft sigh - a fit to relief stress. Then a voice was heard in the distance. On instinct, the blonde tensed up and could feel her fingers digging into the ground below. There was two of them, both of them young men. Something that worried Mary even more.

Dark skin and hair, it was something strange. Glancing up to Delia she was searching for signs of anything she could do, but the woman had simply gestured for her to stay. With a simple nod she obeyed and kept stiff on the ground.

One had asked for their well-being. It almost made the sickly girl tilt her head. Still she kept close to Delia even scooting along the ground closer to her whenever she felt she needed to. Looking up at the elder woman as she spoke, Mary had a worried expression on her features mixed with a slight tinge of fear.

One had then asked for their names, and an offer of help. It was a little strange - almost too strange. Though observing them from afar at least one of them seemed almost innocent in a way.
Pushing herself up, Mary stood up to her feet. It was a little difficult but as always, she managed. Glancing to her friend she slowly nodded her head as if she felt that she was okay. Gazing at the two brothers the blonde spoke up.

"You tell us yours first."

He had scoffed at her, the amusement prevalent even with half of his face obscured by shadows. Shana took great pains not to scoff at this herself. It was enough that she was being given such a wide berth by so many. Shana had to admit that it wouldn't do her much good to get on the bad side of the one man who had taken it upon himself to approach her.

She studied him, even as he repeated himself. Shana still didn't appreciate the way he'd sneaked up behind her as he had. There were simpler, less weird ways to find out if someone was lost, after all. If it weren't for the circumstances Shana might have found herself rather taken with how handsome he was, from what she could see of him.

It didn't escape her notice how he was observing her as she was him.

"Shana... Just Shana," she answered slowly, brow furrowing. She neglected to acknowledge his other question. "Who the hell are you anyways?"

If his clothes were anything to go by he looked far more well off than those around them. Even the way he carried himself had an air of confidence and, if Shana had anything to say about it, smugness. She shook her head. Shana didn't feel quite so comfortable out on these streets. Another of those patrols were marching through the city streets nearby, their red coats something that she'd seen in her history books before.

This has to be some reenactment, she thought, despite the fact that there would still be telephone poles and newspaper booths and all sorts of other technological advances she was used to scattered about. There was no such things here. It was old, simple. Shana didn't want to think about how she might have gotten to this foreign city much less the possibility of time travel.

Her attention darted to the passersby that the man had pointed out. Indeed, quite a bit of their attention was on her. Camisole and short shorts, it was no wonder. This much skin being shown in a place like this was bound to attract eyes.

"Admirers, right," she scoffed. Her gaze drifted back to him. He had still not divulged just why he'd approached her. "I repeat, do you need something?"

----[x]----
Kadar's head had tilted to one side, his brow knitting together in thought. They didn't know how they'd gotten here? He would have thought that was impossible to do, given how strangely they were dressed and sounded compared to other foreigners. The only ones he'd seen with such fair skin and light hair had been some of the Europeans. Still, the accents did not match up.
Malik had taken the head of the conversation, asking for their names. Kadar couldn't help but to beam a little bit before he stifled it. Assassins couldn't wear their heart on their sleeves. Altair certainly didn't. Kadar schooled his expression to a more determined, somber one.
"I am Kadar and this is my brother, Malik," he spoke up before Malik could, gesturing to themselves. The younger one looked warier than her companion though Kadar supposed that was only natural.
He cleared his throat, gesturing behind him. The path was long and winding out to the kingdom beyond though the gates of Masyaf were still nearby, just around the bend.
"We could always take you to Al Mualim," he offered. "I am positive he might have some answer for you."
The discreet look Malik shot over his shoulder at Kadar did not go unnoticed. Kadar did his best not to react to it. The two women needed help and Kadar couldn't let the must stay out here when their master might know something. Certainly they could find some place of residence within Masyaf's walls anyways.

William was a little taken aback by the way this woman took reacting and speaking. It was rather unlady like if he had anything to say about it. In a way, she behaved more like an unrefined man.

He frowned at that, watching her as she shot a look around. Those who had been staring were yet to move on. They had good reason. She was an oddity. From her clothing right down to her behavior.

William spared a glance around himself. He had hopes that no civilian would get authorities involved. That was the last thing he needed.

"Shana," he started. "That is a very strange name. I suppose it fits with the oddity you are."

He merely shook his head at the look he was met with. This girl appeared aggressive and wasn't shy about showing it. Shana didn't seem very shy at all given her presentation. William had to wonder just how foreign she was.

"Quite a mouth on you," He responded. "For a young lady."

William was not shy about letting his own distaste known. He was confident, smug at times. This behavior was not something he would let bother him so easily, despite his distaste for it.

"Rude as well." He carried on. William gave a shake of his head. "Perhaps we might talk as we walk?" He suggested. "I've little doubt the authorities may be involved sooner or later."

More and more stopped and stared or glanced at her as they passed by. At one point or another, someone would report the strange happening and seemingly, the strange girl brought along with it. William had found her however. Perhaps she was merely a piece to a puzzle he and his companions sought to complete.

----[x]----

Delia had glanced down at Mary. She'd gotten to her feet, slowly as it was. A pang of worry shot through her. Whatever had happened, had it put stress on her body? Would she be alright? Even the stress of not knowing where they were, not knowing where Shana had ended up; it could all wear on her health.

Her gaze drifted back toward the pair. The words were not lost to her, heard loud and clear. Still, even as one stepped forward, she took a cautionary step back. Her arm remained raised so Mary would do the same.

Delia had always been overly cautious and paranoid. She worried about putting too much trust in this pair, even as they offered their help.

She spared another glance toward Mary, her heart thudding in her ears, as she asked for their names first. Delia wouldn't say anything on it. Perhaps she was being too cautious, she figured. They had not tried to attack either of them, after all. Given Mary's state, it would have been simple to overpower the both of them anyways.

"My names Delia," she finally responded after the one name Kadar had. She motioned to Mary next, letting her hand fall back to her side. "This is Mary."

Delia gnawed at her lip. The offer hung in the air for a few moments. Someone might have answers but could they trust them? It could have easily been a trap. She tried to reason otherwise, tried to quash those worries.

"...Are you sure?" She inquired. She hadn't missed the glance that Malik had shot over his shoulder. Glancing between the two, neither seemed to argue over it. At least, not at the moment. "We'd...appreciate it if you could."

She was aware she did not know of this man they spoke of. Any potential answers were better then none at all. She tried to ward away the thoughts that told her not to do this. What more could they do? They had no idea where they were.

Carefully, she started forward, motioning for Mary to do the same.

"Stay close to me," she told Mary quietly. "Just in case."

Malik just crossed his arms as he turned to his brother. The younger one of the two seemed wary yet she was taking charge. Maybe it was to make sure that her friend didn't take full charge for all the words and confrontation. An act that he was familiar with himself; he would do the same for his brother to say the least.

He wouldn't let his emotions surface unlike his brother who sometimes has trouble keeping them below. If one wanted to know his true emotions...

He pushed that thought aside and gazed to the winding path behind them. It was from the way they came. Despite how they ran down this path, and how it seemed such short amount of time, walking takes quite the time. At the mention Al Mualim Malik simply nodded his head. For once he agreed with his brother on an idea. Taking them to Al Mualim seemed like a logical start.

It was better than nothing.

It would at least let him investigate into this matter further. He was now more involved in this than he would have liked. Which reminded Malik that he would have to have a talk with his brother once these two were preoccupied. A long talk.

The walk had began to the city. Crossing his arms, Malik kept to the front of the group.

Mary wasn't as worried about her health; she could care less. She just wanted to know where they were, where Shana is, what was going on. Despite the pang of pain in her head Mary kept to her feet as Delia had kept a protective arm in front of her.

Mary was comforted by her friend's caution. It gave off a feeling that she was protected by her like she always was. Mary always tried to return the favor, and it was the same with Shana. The young woman loved being with her friends despite her condition; she never let that get in the way.

Their names were given when she asked for them. Kadar and Malik were strange names. Almost raising a brow she had shifted slightly. Though now it was only right that they give their names. Delia had beaten her by already offering both their names. With a slight smile of comfort she gazed up to Delia as they mentioned Al Mualim.

She could sense Delia's caution - her worry with the situation. Mary was on the inside as well; she just wanted them all to figure out what was going on without getting hurt in the process.

Or worse.

Her ear's twitched slightly at the woman's voice. Indeed, they were finally going to take the first step in this strange place with foreign men. It wasn't the most safest procedure in her opinion, but they didn't have any other choice.

Mary kept close to Delia just like the woman had asked for. She was close enough that she was side-to-side with the elder friend. "You be careful, too." she whispered up to her with a nod of her head in late reply. "We'll figure this out, Delia. I know we can. We'll find Shana, too." she whispered with a hint of false confidence.

It had been a moment for this William to speak up. In fact, among all the other eyes on her it didn't surprise her that she was being studied by him as well. She shrugged, holding out her arms in a "What can you do?" sort of manner.

"What can I say? I'm ex-o-tic," she noted, stressing the last word for effect.

Her hands dropped, slapping audibly against her thighs. She had taken to observing this man, the immaculate way his clothes were and his appearance—what she could of him anyways. He was obviously of higher class than most of those around them and his accent was noticeably french.

"Hey, at least I'm cute," she defended, not at all bothered by the comments of being mouthy and rude. "Can't win 'em all."

As if to prove him correct, or merely to be difficult Shana gave a little bow, sweeping her arm in the direction he might go in. At least she would be less likely to get into trouble for merely being odd. Who knew what might stress any of the passersby out enough to send someone after her.

Only after William started off did Shana follow. It was the most she could do, not at all knowing where it might be safe to tread. If nothing else if he tried for back streets and abandoned alleys she'd speak up about it.

"I am sure that we can manage something," Kadar promised, glancing Malik's way. At least he looked like he would not argue about it.
Kadar turned, waiting for the two women to start along before he took to leading the way. Malik wasn't far behind and he spared a glance up at his older brother. He didn't look pleased, then again Kadar had dragged him out here in the first place.
"I am sure things will work out, Malik," he murmured, attempting to placate him.
He looked over his shoulder at the two. They were still wary, though he couldn't blame them. Instead he carried on, down the winding path. The sooner they got back into Masyaf the better Kadar would feel. He already knew Malik was going to berate him later for this foolish recklessness.
"You are not hurt, are you?" he called back, walking backwards. Kadar wasn't sure if he caught Malik shaking his head at this or not.
Instead he waited for an answer, not wanting to forego any medical attention either girl might need. That would make him unobservant and he was sure that would reflect poorly on him. If he wanted to be like Altair he had to be at his best!

William raised an eyebrow in her choice of manner and the words she'd used. He'd never heard this form of slang. Perhaps it was merely her attitude. Regardless, it was strange.

'Exotic' didn't even begin to explain it. She didn't appear to be as such as it was anyways. He had to wonder where these girl really came from, if she was dropped off by that strange light.

Eventually, she agreed to start walking. William started forward, only glancing back once to make sure she had followed after. She seemed hesitant at first, but otherwise did follow him.

"Now," he started, glancing around the area. "Might you know of how you came here? What was that odd light?"

William would be rather blunt with her. For all he knew, she was the closest 'witness' to it, regardless of more then likely being the cause of it. It left him curious. He would no doubt have to report this to the Brotherhood as well.

"Being as you are here," he began, glancing at her again. "Perhaps you would like clothing that would not make you stick out."

It was obvious as they walked there were others staring. He worried about that. Those who affiliated with the Templar's could have witnessed that strange light and this girl just as quickly as he had. He wouldn't allow her to be stolen away, if she had answers at all.

----[x]----

Delia swallowed as they started to follow. Malik hadn't appeared pleased with the outcome. She wondered if there would be others wary of their presence as well. As far as she could recall, she could place their accents, just not their location.

She glanced down at Mary, offering a small smile toward her reassurance. Delia still worried though, she tried to hide it. She reached out, patting the younger woman's head gently.

"I'm sure," she reassured quietly.

Kadar had swiveled around, walking backwards momentarily. He spoke out again, seeming concerned for them. She glanced back down toward Mary before she chose to speak.

"No, we're both fine," she answered. "Mary...can become sick easily though, so it's best to keep an eye out."

In a bid to make up for it, Delia poked her arm lightly, winking at the younger woman. It was hard, no doubt, having so many people worry over her health. In a way, Delia felt a little insensitive as well. She spent more time worrying over Mary's health then herself.

"She seems fine for the moment however." She pressed.

Delia worried however. Would this place, as barren as it looked, really be equipped to take care of Mary if she did grow ill. She shook that thought, trying to take things one step at a time.
