In Yasogami High School, Minako Kinomoto is sitting by the window after class ended for the day as she watched everyone making plans for themselves and going to hang out with one another as for her, she is packing up her stuff to head to her parent's bookstore. After appearing on TV yesterday, nobody really asked about her or anything. 'It is true, I am the ghost but at least my online novel is going well.' she said into her head as she looked at Yu and his friends. She has a small crush on hi, but lack the voice to speak out. 'one day at a time' she said picking up her bag as she walked to the door.

As she walked out, she bump shoulder with Rise and shook it off as it was nothing. 'everyone is in a rush.' she said in her head as she walked out the door, but looked back to the group before hearing her username from students outside the hallway. "Wow, Magical Lina809 new story is wonderful. she knows how to make the story turn around! Can't wait to read her next online novel story." a female student said as Minako was happy to hear that people liking her story. As she walked to her shoe locker, she put on her shoes and head to her parent's bookstore.

After class has ended for the day and everyone heading home, but Yosuke and his friend had to deal with the next person who is going to disappear once more and they have been watching the news lately to see if it anyone they know or has seen somewhere in town. "Man! why is it so hard to find the killer?" Yosuke said as he lay his head on the desk once no one other then the team is in the room. "It not like it was going to be easy Yosuke, so stop your whining and get your head into the game!" Chie said as she slap him on the back off the head to get him to get his head back into the game.

Yosuke quickly sit up as he felt the pain on his head hurting as he was about to shout until he saw Tsubame come into the classroom as he smiled and waved to her. "Tsubame! Glad you can make it!" He said grinning like an idiot as Chie has the need to punch or kick him at the moment, but Yukiko stop her from doing that at the moment. "Glad to see you Tsubame, busy with meeting today? Kanji asked as he lean against the wall as Rise made it inside, but stop to look at Minako and wonder why she didn't say anything, but remembers seeing her from somewhere.

Class finished with a few choice and classic-Morooka-sensei words of… ah, “wisdom.” Yu sighed, laughing lightly at it as the teacher stomped out of the classroom. He thought about the fact that there was someone likely in danger.

Yu stretched his arms above his head, glancing about the classroom. There he saw her – someone who very well could be the next one on the Midnight Channel, Minako Kinomoto.

“Kino-“ he stopped, deciding not to call out to her. Best let her go out in her rush, he supposed, though it would be… Never mind it! Focus on the small meeting, Yu!
“Ah, everyone should be here soon.” He hated to not include Teddie in this, but they’d catch him up.

“Oh! Senpai~!” Rise chirped, Yu nodded, smiled, and waved.

“We need to make sure we are able to warn her – or at least keep an eye on her. We saw Kinomoto-san on the news yesterday, correct? Considering the patterns with Yukiko, Kanji, and Rise, we can say that it’s very likely that Kinomoto-san will be next.”

After clearing up what needed to be cleared up in terms of Student Council, Tsubame packed up her things to head over to the classroom next to hers. She took a deep breath and let out a long sigh. The day had been long, sure, but she was ready to talk to her friends and think over their next move.

She walked into classroom 2-1 to see Yosuke holding his head in pain, briefly, at least. Blinking, she approached slowly as he perked up, and she couldn’t help but smile just a bit in response. “I would not miss an important and scheduled meeting with you all such as this.” She turned her head to Kanji, “Student Council doesn’t meet today, Kanji-kun. And even when it does meet, it’s very likely that I can adjust my schedule to complete my tasks.”

She stepped closer to everyone, “Rise-san, Chie-san, Yukiko-san, Yu-kun, Yosuke-kun, afternoon,” she said. She really was still adjusting to having so many new friends, but she really did enjoy it.

Minako walked out the school gate and head to her family's bookstore as she usually has to be there in time before the kids comes to the children area of the bookstore to hear her read them a book for them. She stop and thinks back as she thought she heard Yu call for her but shook her head off as if it was nothing as she crossed the street.

Minako made it in time as she goes in the back room and put her stuff away and head to the front counter to check to see if they have anything to pick up which was none as she walked to the children reading area.

Minako get a book from the bookshelves as she saw the forming close to where she sit at as she giggles to see her little brother along with the children as well. "'Hello everyone, glad to see all of you new and familiar faces." She said smiling as she sat down reading to the child as their parents borrows around. she enjoy reading to the children very much because she get to read of her old favorite childhood stories.

"Hey, I don't know when the student council meets up, so I took a guess at it." Kanji said as he was just glad that everyone is together minus Teddy since they would inform him later. "Hey Tsubame, glad to see you here." Chie said as she was glad they had another friend in the group. "you're just in time before we discuss on what we saw on the new yesterday." Yukiko said as they get to sitting down together.

"Okay, let get started, what we saw on the new last night is another victim of being kidnap." Yosuke said as he want to find out who is putting them into the TV. "Yeah, but we still don't know how they get sent into the TV or is behind it." Chie pointed out as Kanji wish he couldn't remember how he gotten into the TV and not even Yukiko or Rise remember. "Yeah, but at least we know who it is and where she it." Rise said as they have some clues down already. "Minako Kinomoto, she was on the new yesterday about her family bookstore." Yukiko said as this was their only shot.

"Then all we have to do is warn and protect her like Yu say, it should be easy as that." Kanji said as they could just watch over her. "Not really, she rarely talk to anyone in school and not even some of the students know much about her. the only thing we know her parents own a bookstore..." Yosuke said as they would need some information to find her if she is kidnap. "Then let start with the bookstore, by watching her we may know a little more then we know now." Chie suggested as she stood up.

“We shouldn’t all gather around there at once,” Yu sighed, remembering the train wreck that was the attempted protection of Kanji… not to mention what all happened with Rise.

There were options to consider. Time to think about. They had to make a plan of action – perhaps they could do a multi-group stake out? That bookstore… though it usually wasn’t when Minako was really working – he was an odd hour visitor to quickly run in a grab the books he wanted. But, he still was a frequent. The life of an avid reader was an interesting one.

“Yes, I think that would be a good idea, Chie,” Yu said. Had Yu ever mentioned that he really liked the familiarity within the group? Because he did.

“Just in case Dojima-san and Adachi-san… not to mention the other detective… are still watching us, we need to think of exactly how we’re going to do this.” He had to think ahead. As the leader, he had to think for the benefit of everyone. Rational was on the mind.

“I suppose you wouldn’t, Kanji-kun. I appreciate your concern, at any rate,” Tsubame said, taking a seat as they all got prepared to discuss what had been seen on the news. “Yes, I’m glad to be here.” This was her new friend group, new actual friends. She could take breaks, and be a normal breathing teen. There was the fact that Tsubame wasn’t in their class directly, but..! As the vice-president of the Student Council, she did know a thing or two about most students at the school.

“That sounds like a plan. We should split up into groups, shouldn’t we? The more natural we look, the better off we’d be,” Tsubame said. She knew a little about what really would make sense. Well, they were about to set something into action.

“Alright, well, Senpai! On your command!”

“Right. Let’s help save another person, team,” Yu said. "To save Kinomoto-san!"

As Minako read, one of the kid raise her hand and asked her a question. “Which book is your favorite as a child?” a girl asked Minako as she paused in the book.

Minako closed her eyes and thinks about it for a while as she could think of many different book she read as a child. “Well… I have so many books as my favorite, but one of my most remember book would be about a great knight searching his lost memories of his life after the war.” She said as that one of very favorite book as a child.

“Did he ever find his lost memories? Did he had a happy ending?” The girl child asked as she wanted to know if this story did have a happy ending.

“Of course it did, he found out he is a far of three beautiful kids, one son and two daughter and his wife has been waiting for him to come back home even when people told her he might be dead. But she believe in her heart he was still alive and waited for so many months until he came home with all the memories he had once lost in battle.” Minako said as that one of very favorite books.

“Thanks for understanding Tsubame.” Kanji said as he rub the back of his head going back to leaning on the wall. Yosuke smiled as he was glad to have Tsubame with them and even helping them out as well. Chie smiled as her ideas was a great one for them to work on. “True, the detective could be watching us now and we won’t be able to get out of it.” Yukiko said as this was much harder now on the group if they come in at once.

“I think Tsubame is right, the smaller the group is. The less likely anyone would think not to bother us.” Yosuke said as he looked at the group to hear the plan was a go and they can save another person from being kidnap. “okay, there is eight of us, each group will have four people.” Yosuke said to them as they come up who goes with who.

“Yu, this is the time where you come up who goes in which group.” Chie said as Teddy would be with the guys instead of the girls

Everyone cheered on their plan.

Yu had to figure out exactly how to divvy up the groups. Minako was in danger, so they had to figure it out the works and processes quickly. Perhaps it would look normal to have a group of guys and a group of girls, but balance is a balance goes. In fact, it would look the most so. “We will have Yosuke, Kanji, Teddie, and myself in one group, and Chie, Yukiko, Rise, and Tsubame in the other.”

There would likely be intergroup contact anyway, since it was natural.

After it was all settled on, they all set out to the bookstore where they were to look out for Minako.

Yu, chatting as naturally and easily as it seemed he developed with the others since moving there, his heart a lot more open to making friends, stopped with a glance in front of the bookstore. If they could protect her, she would be the next captured. They could save her, but it was better to prevent that!

Actually, would it hurt to go pick up a book? That would be a normal matter, would it not?

So, that’s what he decided on, with the boys of course.

Being put with the other girls was just fine. She was getting used to being around them more, and it was good for her to meet friends like this, to be with others like this, and manage a smile. Kou had noticed the change, everyone had. “Chie-san, Yukiko-san, Rise-san, let’s do our best today.”

“Tsubame-senpai, you can’t be so stiff on a day like this. If we want to look less suspicious, we need to act calmly! So, come on, let’s all give a big Risette smile and save Kinomoto-senpai!”

“What would we discuss?” Tsubame asked. Casual, friendly banter still wasn’t on the studious and rather awkward girl’s mind.

Rise laughed, and patted her on the back, “Anything that’ll make us grin! But you know,” her eyes glinted slyly, “There are things that we girls can chat about now that the boys aren’t here.”

"What? Rise-san, we..."

A giggle erupted from Chie and Yukiko as well.

"Don't worry about it, Tsubame. Let's just go grab something to eat and stay alert! Yu and the others are probably being more nosy, so let's take the outside."

"All right."
