Welcome. Before using the forum, read and follow these simple rules. This is to ensure that everyone has a good experience in the community.

We've reworked some due to past disturbances.

Forum Rules

  1. Be respectful to your fellow members.
  2. We would ask and hope that you respect keeping avatar and signature images down to a select size so that it does not unnecessarily stretch the page out. We ask that you keep avatar images down to 120x250 if not smaller and signature sizes are to be no bigger than 400x450.
  3. Likewise, images for your Profile Fields (i.e. PokePartner, Faction, Digi Crest, etc. etc.) should be about 50x50 in size so as not to page-stretch. If you cannot find a small enough image to fit we do have pre-sized icons for use here.
  4. Anything that can be considered a spoiler for any new video game, show, manga, anime, etc. etc. must be placed within a spoiler tag. Some people do not wish to be spoiled and this is a common courtesy to everyone. --
  5. If issues of harassment are reported, a moderator or admin has the right to calm the fight and give a warning. We do not take sides. Respect your fellow users and do not start fights.
  6. Stay on topic.
  7. Do not spam or double post. You may reply after your own post after 24 hours if you do not get a response. An exception to the rule for double posting would be instances in the Fan Club section where one is keeping an updated progress topic on a run through of a game.
    What is spam?
a.) Very short posts that do not add to the discussion of a topic.
Example: A post with "lol yay!", "cool!" or "I agree!"can be considered spam.Do not advertise. All links inappropriately linked will be deleted. You are allowed to post links in your profile or your signature.
  8. Do not impersonate any member.
  9. Do not post copyrighted material. Don't duplicate someone else's work from another site and claim it as your own. This is somewhat disrespectful to them.
  10. Do not backseat moderate. If you see someone breaking one of the rules on Assassins Den, please contact a staff member and let the staff deal with it.
  11. Please be respectful to your admins and moderators. Do not disrespect them. If a staff member reports disrespect toward a staff member, it will result in a warning.

Fan Fiction Rules:

  1. Do not post 'Character Information Sheets' in the fanfiction folders. You should be able to convey to readers what your character(s) look and act like through the chapters you post.
  2. Use correct spelling and try to use your best English. (It is important to make sure the words you write are correctly spelled, because sometimes
when they are misspelled they mean bad things or something that don't relate to your writing at all.)
  3. Use paragraphs by hitting enter twice. When a different character begins speaking, their words should not be on the same line as the previous character.
  4. Do not write anything that discriminates any one/ group.
  5. If you are writing a story about people on this forum ask for their permission to use their name and write about them.
  6. Do not copy anyone else's work. (It belongs to them and they should be respected.)

Roleplaying Rules

  1. No Godmodding: This means do not control other people characters, make yourself overpowered with special abilities, or being able to wriggle your way out of any situation with the wave of your hands. Just like in real life, you cannot control what another person does except for yourself.
  2. Do not start a serious relationship like Dating or Marriage unless you have that person's permission. Remember, we are a site for fun. We're not here to get into serious relationships.
  3. Type in English and try to use your best grammar and spelling. Reread what you wrote.
  4. Keep this G to M rated. MA content (lemons, limes, sexual content) is prohibited!
  5. Use Quality posts in a minimum of four sentences!! If you do not follow this, your post may be deleted and be considered a spam post.
    Spammed rp posts include:
a.) A short sentence with few lines of text.
c.) It's not a chat room. Posts don't take a few minutes to type up.
  6. Use Reserved and Open Topics in Role Play Area rule To prevent disruption and a more organized rp, everyone is required to put RESERVED in their topic if they only allow specific characters to enter. If you do not put RESERVED, anyone can come in. In the topic itself, they can add this (characters allowed: Aiyo, Kitty...etc). Everyone not mentioned is not allowed to participate.
  7. Emoticons, images and videos are not allowed. You're suppose to describe feelings in a rp. Only Game Results may post images or others for our festivals and others.
  8. All character sheets are to be added at the Roleplay Character Hub. If you post them in any roleplay itself you run the risk of the post being deleted.
  9. Do not just skim other people's posts. Pay attention to the settings people have their characters in, what they say and their reactions. It is not all about just YOUR character, it's about interacting with the others and forming a story by joint effort. If you do not understand something in someone's post do not be afraid to ask in an Out of Character section/post (by using double brackets or paragraphs and mentioning that it is OOC) or send them a message to clarify.

Overall Etiquette

  1. Make sure that what you say is not offensive. If it sounds offensive to you it will probably offend someone else. Make note that this is not the same as expressing an opinion over something.
  2. Doublecheck your spelling and grammar from time to time. It's hard to respond to people who's posts are hard to understand.
  3. Try to use the proper bbcode. If you have problems with the bbcoding we do have tutorials in our Help!! section for those new to bbcoding.

Writing Etiquette

  1. Doublecheck your work for any typos and grammatical errors.
  2. If you want others to comment on your works, comment on theirs. Don't expect others to do what you aren't willing to do yourself.

Roleplaying Etiquette

  1. Do not ignore another user's contributions and attempts to interact with your character solely because you do not like them or their character.
  2. Do not just piddle around. Actually attempt to contribute to the storyline that is being added on and set by everyone involved.
  3. Doublecheck your post for any misspellings, grammatical errors or anything akin to them.
