Nepeta Lejion Cosplay

Subject: Nepeta Lejion Cosplay Tue Oct 30, 2012 10:56 pm

Due to money issues, I've decided to make my Halloween costume this year!

From Halloween's past I've gathered a stockpile of gray face/skin paint (I just need to find it) and my dear friend Steve chipped in to get me a Nepeta shirt. The horns are made of toilet paper tubes, hot glue, and acrylic paint. I seemed to have made them a tad too pointy uvu

I have grey capris that go above my knee and checkered card suit socks from way back when to make a delightful shipper Nepeta costume!

Oh lordy no. It's the move vile excuse for a costume ever. xD I actually wound up just scrapping it after getting my candy and putting fake blood all over me to scare some kids at a haunted house. I got just as much candy out of that as I did trick-or-treating.

Next halloween I plan on going as IronLass!Jade or Lil Cal. I can sew cloths pretty well, so they seem like a good option.

Thanks! I'm also getting started on a 3AM!Jade for a con I hope to go to over New Years. We'll see how well that blows over though.

I've never been to a con before, but I hope everything works out well, the 3am dress is super pretty

Cons are suuper fun. But really expensive. That's why I usually only go to one or two.

When I lived in Texas they were right in my area, but now that I've moved I do have to travel for them. But thankfully they fall during my school breaks. (New years and the summer) and my friend also goes to those cons. So it cuts some of the expenses because she lives right between the usual locations for both.

Ikki-Con and Oni-con are my usual haunts, although since I live close to San Diego I was thinkng about not going to Oni-con next year and doing San Diego Comic Con instead.

My uncle and his wife go to San Diego's Comic Con, I'm hoping to join them once I'm eighteen, he says it's a blast.

Yeah, I heard that too. I have a friend who's planning on going. So if I'm back from my trip by then I'll be tagging along.
