The Last of Us

So, I have no idea if anyone else on our comm has had the opportunity to pick up a copy of it but I've recently sunk my teeth into The Last of Us today. I had originally picked it up yesterday but I had to finish up Telltale's The Walking Dead before I had to return that. Finally being able to get into The Last of Us? Superb!

Granted, I'm just getting the hang of it, I've already died a handful of times on Normal mode, but I really love what I've seen so far. I swear, it must be national "let's make Fang cry" day because after losing my shit at the end of The Walking Dead ~~even when I knew what was coming~~ the first fifteen minutes of The Last of Us makes me cry like a little sissy girl as well!

Really, if no one's picked it up yet I'd definitely recommend it! If nothing else, if you're only interested in the story I know Cry is doing a Let's Play of it that can be found here.

If anyone else has played it or seen someone's LP of it I'd love to hear their thoughts about it so far.

Oh my gosh, I've been watching Cry's lets play of it with a couple friends of mine! I literally don't know what I'm going to do if and when I get my hands on it. Probably just sob on the cover and never play /w\

It also runs by really realistically, which I can appreciate, nothings really blown out of context and it just feels so raw and real.

Oh, it's so great, isn't it?! I'm up past Bill's Town right now, way past what Cry has out. Just you wait, Ellie's such an adorable little shit! I love her to pieces!

As you've pointed out, everything runs so real that it's hard not to get into it, even just watching it! I love how great the gameplay graphics are as well, they really outdid themselves on this one.

I tried my hand at the online multiplayer, too. I'd like it a lot more if I'd stop losing connection to the match hosts. I don't get enough supplies before that happens so people in my clan start to get sick or get hungry and it's not my fault! Luckily I haven't lost everyone in my clan and I can get some great Supply Raid matches where I can power through and get way more supplies than I originally need so I can build my clan numbers up again.
