The doctor's laugh was chilling. It certainly drew her attention back onto him. He obviously took her disposition as amusing. He was the one who had control of this situation however. Why wouldn't he find it amusing?

She visibly shrunk back at the touch, as gentle as it was. It seemed quite odd though, he might have been making attempts to get further reactions out of her. He was obviously enjoying his position.

She averted her gaze again, her fingertips brushing against her forehead before her hand fell back to her side. A proposition for her life? It wasn't like she wanted to die; but getting involved with a murderer? Was that something she was willing to do?

She bit her lip, unsure of the decision. If there was no other way, she'd have to take it.

Hesitantly, her gaze fell onto the doctor again. "What is it?" She inquired carefully.

Il Lupo finally managed to let his smirk fall as they welcomed the woman into the order. With this ceremony finally coming to an end, he considered taking his leave.

He had to keep things subtle. Of course Aries would most likely remain suspicious of them; everyone of them. It was no secret that even becoming a Templar didn't ensure any form of safety. No, she'd be watched constantly, whether she would be aware of it or not.

Il Lupo considered doing this himself. He was already suspicious after all; just what was the woman hiding, who was she really? There were several questions that ran through his mind and he wanted answers to them all.

Only time would tell. He would have to wait for the others to leave and see if he couldn't work his way under the woman's skin; see her real personality over the mask she was wearing now. He assumed it could be a simple task. It wasn't like she was making many attempts to hide her aggression earlier after all.

She wouldn't be able to see it but Malfatto delighted when she essentially began to cooperate. This would make his life easier, cut down on time that could be spent doing something better.

"Nothing too difficult for someone of your... demeanor." It was clear he was messing with her, letting her know that he knew just how weak she was: letting her know that the doctor was well aware that she was no fighter.

He paused as if for effect before he plowed on, if only to ensure he still had her attention.

"I have an associate I meet with every other week, same day, same time. He procures certain... items... for me. Instead of wasting my time having to travel there and back I think you'll find yourself suitable for the task."

In truth it wasn't a far off travel, just to the other side of Roma, towards the north. The man lived out in the country but he always procured some form of new poisons and the like for Malfatto. This would be a test to see just how useful the woman would be to him.

Later today Malfatto was scheduled to meet with the man, after all.

Aries took their welcomes with good grace, sparing a smile here and a nod there. She wanted to get some air soon. She fiddled with the ring, spinning it around and around on her finger with her thumb. It still felt as heavy to her as when she had initially put it on.

Donato clapped his hand on her shoulder once more, noting her scowl, he took it away quickly. Three of the men had left after taking care to tell Aries to keep up the work she had in the past few days and she might find herself raising in rank.

She hadn't been sure how to feel about that news.

"I must be off. I have a prior engagement to deal with with my wife," Donato answered, turning to nod at Il Lupo who had yet to leave as well. "Tomorrow whoever has been assigned to give you your missions will meet with you."

"Sounds like a plan," Aries smiled. Donato returned the sentiment before bidding himself off, slipping through the door. As the door clicked shut the smile immediately dropped from her lips and turned instead to raise a brow at Il Lupo.

She paced a few steps to the right, as if to keep him in her sights at all times. She felt naked without her hood, exposed. Aries wouldn't let that discomfort show however.

"What's with you?" she inclined her head to him. "Thought you had somewhere to be or was that just ruse?"

Elda shifted nervously, her gaze wandering about for a brief moment before settling on the doctor. Her limbs trembled less now, but her stomach seemed twisted up in knots.

She was bargaining her life for a few errands that needed to be run regularly. In the long run, it didn't seem like that hefty of a trade off. But would she be used later on? She didn't ask; he had power over her and he clearly would use it.

"Where do I need to go?" She inquired further.

If anything, at least she was used to running errands on her own. If it wasn't so far; she wouldn't take much stock into it. This was her life after all; she found no room to complain.

Il Lupo smirked, taking a few strides forward. This woman had an attitude, that was for sure. She seemed to quite like using it as well; not that he complained. It simply made a little more fun for him.

"'Patience is a virtue and time an illusion.' Is that not what you said? Perhaps I am simply 'making some time'?"

Using her own words against her, he hoped to get a bit of a ruse. Playing with lower, newer members wasn't something he took to doing too often. Still, this might prove favorable in his matter.

"Or am I bothering you, Little Lamb?"

Of course he was; he could see it. She didn't want him here; otherwise she wouldn't have made a comment. Now, she was playing cautious, she was studying him just as much as he was to her. He simply was able to read her motives and actions a little easier.

Malfatto nodded. Good, she was accepting. This was going well for him then. Start her on a few errands now and later she might be willing to do more for him....

"To the north end of Roma. There is a man named Contanzo, just outside the gates. You will meet with him, take what bag he gives you and meet me near Cyprus."

He gauged her reaction accordingly. The north end of Roma was quite fair distance away and honestly there wasn't much time to get there at the meeting spot. He glanced up at the sun, gauging the time as best he could.

"By my watch you've got maybe forty minutes to make it there on time," he stated as if merely making a passing observation about the weather. By his attitude the woman would never guess she would be passing along rather dangerous instruments that would end another's life on more than one occasion.

"When you get there you will tell him Malfatto sent you. Understand?"

If she agreed he would push himself off the wall and saunter away, his proposal done and over with and she would be on her way. If not a quick and fluid movement with the syringe would solve this lose end easily. It was only a matter of what she would agree to.

As Il Lupo strode forward Aries paced around him, keeping him a fair enough distance away at all times. "Is that right?" she inquired as she did so. "Twisting my words around, not very original of you."

At the 'pet name' Aries tossed the man a look. He was playing with her, trying to drive her out of her element and see just what she might provide him with. The question was what was he hunting for - information? Entertainment? Aries couldn't be sure of the answer to that.

"Forgive me," she retorted, a bite to her voice. "But I've a habit of not trusting wolves when I can spot one."

She wondered just where this verbal sparring match would end up at. How much time was he willing to 'make' just to keep this up?

She listened to him carefully, taking a mental note of where she needed to go. If he was making a distance for her simply because he could, she didn't appreciate it. Still, she had little room to argue.

She bit her lip, suppressing a rather irritated sigh. She wanted to get this done and over with; leave her with time to think on the matter.

"I'll do it," She finally responded. "I'll get whatever it is you're waiting on."

She didn't feel well about accepting but with her life on the line, she had no choice. She didn't care for the thought of dying; even by this mans hands.

Still, she had to wonder just how far this man would allow her to go; how long she would be able to live. It was hard to say. She was putting her life in his hands and he fully knew that.

What if he decided he had no use for her anymore? Would she have to prove her worth?

She feared knowing that answer.

Il Lupo smirked, keeping his ground. She was a cleaver one; not easily shaken it seemed. That was a good thing. Still, they met the same end, regardless of how brave they were.

He did have some place to be and he was wasting time now. Still, seeing her speak up, in or out of her element, was good enough for him. He was gauging her; seeing just how much so could take.

"Ironic," he pressed. He pushed passed her. As he did, he spoke briefly again. "The wolf always gets the lamb, you know."

With that he was gone. He had enough to see so far. He needed to watch her when she was not expecting it. See what she did, where she went. If he was to truly put trust in this woman, he had to know her. At the moment, he remained suspicious.

They couldn't have a fox sniffing about their secrets and to him, this 'lamb' was just that.

Malfatto waved over his shoulder as he left, an arrogance in his step that he felt was rather deserved.

"Don't take too long now," he advised as he left. "He doesn't like to be kept waiting."

With that warning he was gone, disappearing towards busier streets. If the woman didn't make it back to him in a timely fashion and he would have to seek her out he would be deal with it appropriately. Malfatto didn't think this would be an issue however. No, he had her right where he wanted her.

Aries closed her mouth. Il Lupo had left, the door clicking shut behind him, before she had been able to form any sort of response to his last retort. She huffed, dropping slapping her hands against her legs. The sleeve, detached from her dress, hung over her hand, covering the Templar ring.

She frowned. Now she was considered one of them, an enemy. Demitri had said this would be hard on her, that she was too strong-willed for this. Aries was starting to believe he was right.

Passing a hand through her hair she left, glancing this way and that as she exited the now abandoned room. Only a few tavern patrons shared a glance to her before going back to their own doings. Aries hurried out of the tavern, having no need to stay.

No, she merely had to occupy herself until tomorrow when she would find out what she had to do further. Keeping an eye on the rooftops for any potential threats as well as anyone shady in the crowds about her Aries moved through Roma's streets. She would head on towards the little house she had taken up as her own for this mission of hers.

Aries hated the feeling of being so cut off from her real allies but in order to pass as a Templar she had sequestered herself from them completely. Being seen with any of them alone would be enough to raise alarms in the Templars minds, even if she claimed not to know of their allegiances.

Aries couldn't afford that.

Elda didn't take much time to watch him leave. She turned quickly, heading toward the place he had said Contanzo would be waiting. No doubt, she didn't have much time.

Taking a steady job, she dodged those who were walking about, ignoring their angry calls if she bumped into one. She didn't have time to stay and apologize after all.

The fear she had felt turned into adrenaline, keeping her moving at a steady pace without much thought. She didn't want to think; not now. She just wanted to get the job done.

Still, she scolded herself in her mind slightly. She knew who this man was from the rumors floating around. Why had she insisted herself on following? She wasn't sure, there hadn't been much of an excuse at all. She simply had done it because she was curious.

Look where it had taken her. Her life was on the line and for what? Curiosity. Part of her hated herself for that.

There was no time to dwell on it. She had roughly forty minutes, maybe less; if she had to take a horse, she would. It would certainly make her life easier now that it was on the line.

Aries didn't allow herself to dwell on things, not as she walked. She kept herself focused instead. She couldn't rule out the fact that anyone was watching her, keeping tabs on her as she was the newbie. One of the fastest to make it in according to Donato earlier that day. This most assuredly left people with doubts about her loyalties but she couldn't have afforded to wait around and take her time on it.

She grunted as someone bumped into her and instinctively she reached out, grasping the person's wrist in her left hand tightly. She had been pickpocketed in this many times before and thus the reaction was one of instinct now.

Aries blinked at the woman in her grasp. Blonde hair cut short, glasses perched atop her nose and obscuring her eyes. She didn't look like a thief. In fact, her clothes looked as if she was possibly doing alright. In fact her hand was empty as well.

She wasn't quite sure what to say to this woman and by the look on the woman's face she seemed to be in quite a rush. Her face was paler than it should be. Had something frightened her beforehand?

Elda gasped loudly suddenly being pulled to a halt by another figure. Her eyes wide with fear, she glanced at the woman. Visibly, she let herself relax just a little. She thought it might have been Malfatto, though, he had moved in the other direction; not the same way she was going.

"I-is there something you need?" She inquired quietly.

She didn't have time to be stopped yet this woman had; seemingly out of no where. None of the other people she had run into had made an attempt to stop her. They just yelled at her, impatience lacing their tone.

"I've...got a place I need to be and all, so..."

She wasn't sure if she was getting through to this woman or not. She needed to be on her way however and the delay wasn't helping her nerves much.

Aries seemed to snap out of her surprise at the well-to-do appearance of the one that had bumped into her. It had been an honest mistake, no theft intended, just a woman in a hurry.

Aries nodded, letting go of the other woman's wrist.

"Right," she grunted as she did so. "Careful. Others might think you're trying to pickpocket them."

The least she could do was warn her, let her know why she had grabbed onto her so suddenly. Aries wasn't one to apologize, never had been. This was her way of making up for the trouble she may have caused.

With that she turned and headed back, continuing her walk. There wasn't much more she could do until she ran across something to catch her attention after all.

Elda let her hand fall back to her side, watching as the other woman left. She was running into a strange lot today and it was making her uncomfortable. It might have simply been bad luck; she wasn't sure.

She shook her head, taking her time to adopt her pace again, disregarding the woman. Pick pocketing? She didn't need to do that or care to. For her, there was no point.

She didn't slow her pace; she couldn't afford it. The doctor, or she should have been referring to him as Malfatto (it left a sour taste in her mouth, even thinking of his name), hadn't given her much time.

She wondered if he took amusement out of that fact.

Shaking the thoughts from her head, she continued on. It would be a long trek but at least she still had time.

Malfatto had not been displeased. The woman, whose name name he hadn't bothered to learn, had dutifully run out to meet his contact and come back on horse back near Cyprus Island to give him the leather bag. He had inspected the contents before her, making sure none of the vials had broken or the syringe needles snapped in half.

When he had been satisfied all was well he had let her run off, telling her that she would repeat the process on the same day, same time, next week for other supplies. If he had need of her before then he would fetch her himself.

All in all, it had been a good deal for Malfatto and the new day found him in a fairly good mood - to him of course. A good mood for Malfatto was never a good thing for anyone else.

Now he strode the streets of Roma, his dark clothes soaking up the sunlight and keeping him warm in the chilly morning. Perhaps he'd pay a visit to his errand girl.

Aries was waiting at the designated spot Donato had sent letter about. The fountain nearby cast a deep shadow in the morning light and the water caught the sunlight casting prisms of rainbows in the mist. She was seated at a bench, arms crossed over her chest.

She still felt so exposed without the hood on. She'd have to purchase a hooded something or other to remedy that. There wasn't much she could do about the hidden blades, which she had stored away in a secret spot for safekeeping. Using them would raise red flags in her double agent agenda.

Aries couldn't risk it.

So now she waited to find out just who would be the one to oversee her progress until such a time that she was deemed fully trustworthy and able to help run things from the inner ring of Templars. The idea made her both giddy and sick. At that position she'd have knowledge so great it could tip the favor towards the assassins in this fight. Disgust warred with it, not wanting to admit that she was a Templar 'first and foremost' according to her induction.

Her thumb rotated the ring around her left middle finger again, hidden under her white sleeve. It seemed this was becoming a habit.

Elda was rather tired the next day, having gone through sheer panic and than dealt with the delivery to Malfatto, all of which was in a very short span of time.

Her little flower shop seemed rather quiet now, waking at an hour when most were recovering from parties and events over night. The streets were just beginning to fill as she went to work.

It was half hearted at best, her mind thrown toward the doctor and what he might ask of her next. She didn't favor her position; but at least it kept her alive.

Il Lupo grunted. This position he would be placed under didn't please him but he was unwilling to argue. He was to over see Aries; certainly a position neither would care for.

What was worse, he'd be near. While it would give him time to observe, he much preferred to watch from afar. It left him with the element of surprise. That was being striped away from him.

Regardless, he did not argue, simply followed. If he could get this done and over with in time, he would be happy. Still, it gave him some time to know the woman; learn her secrets if there were any to be had.

That much, he took as a convenience.

Malfatto mused over the possibilities. With an... extra hand, so to speak, on his side now it opened up many doors. Perhaps he'd prod the woman to help him in his endeavors. He smirked at this. Perhaps, but not yet. He had to make sure she wouldn't try to turn on him in those times.

He changed directions, taking a right turn instead of a left to head towards the meager flower shop.

Malfatto might not have anything to task her with but he could at least bother her... remind her that he was just around the corner.

Aries' gaze drifted, passing over the crowd of morning gatherers. Already the streets were growing busy. Nearby a horse neighed and someone cooed at it to calm it down.

Her brow furrowed as she caught sight of a familiar color scheme. Her eyes darted back around. There, on the edges of the crowd as Il Lupo, stalking towards her. An almost pained look crossed her face at the realization and she passed a hand over her face, hiding her expression from view, rubbing at her temples in the process. Her other arm rested over her chest where she had previously had them crossed.

"Oh God..." she groaned lowly.

It seemed this already difficult task wasn't going to go any easier on Aries.

Elda felt nervous that day though, she didn't think she had a reason to. She hadn't seen hint nor hair of Malfatto since the day before and he had claimed to stick to his once a week pattern. Still, she wondered how much of that was true.

He was obviously enjoying her plight; that much she had known. So when was his next step, what was he going to do and when would he show up?

These questions, she didn't know if she'd get answers to. He was unpredictable, after all. She had no way of knowing until he actually did it.

She bit her lip, trying to put her mind off it, but her nerves wouldn't allow it. It lingered in the back of her mind like a dark shadow. She hated it; hated this feeling. But she was unsure of what to do.

Il Lupo lifted his head, only slightly to gauge her reaction. She seemed less than pleased and rightly so. It wasn't exactly like they had gotten off on the 'right foot' the other day.

She wasn't doing much to hide her displeasure of the entire issue either. Still, he found it rather amusing. There were some ups and down's to this arrangement; this, he had to consider one of the 'ups'.

"You seem less than pleased," He taunted as he came to a halt near her. "Most would die to be in your position, you know."

He smirked, waiting on her reaction. Of course, there had been a hint of truth in his words. Many did request his serve's and were pleased to have him accept, if and when he did.

Her stall was in sight, empty as it seemed to be. Malfatto could see some spare her arrangements a glance, one even stopped to sniff the flowers before she moved on. If things didn't pick up on her flower stall Malfatto may have found a way to 'hire' her on as his assistant if it came down to it....

He smirked wickedly at the thought.

"Well, if it isn't the little errand girl of mine," he taunted lightly as he stepped up to her stall. The dark clothes he adorned showed green in the bright sunlight as it rose higher into the sky.

"Faring well, I hope?" Whether or not he was being sincere was anyone's guess.

At his words Aries tipped her head back, head resting against the building behind her as she laughed. She had to clasp a hand over her mouth to muffle the sound as she gathered some strange looks by a few of the passersby.

When the laughter subsided, she still partly hid the smirk stretched over her lips with her hand, elbow resting against her other arm.

"I'm just going to let you know, the only thing that came to mind at this news is that you are," she paused, mulling over the best choice in words for a moment. "'Specific entertainment' for hire, so to speak."

Aries made a show of eying him up and down for a moment before shrugging. A look of mild confusion and acceptance crossing over her face for effect. "Though why anyone would think a mangy wolf would be suitable...."

Elda barely took note of those who passed by, so deep in her own thoughts that she didn't care to lift her head. It wasn't until she heard that familiar voice did she jump, finding herself startled. Wide eyed, her gaze quickly found the doctor in front of her stand.

Her mouth opened slightly, words meaning to pass but none seemed to come. She gathered her thoughts, pushing herself off of the chair she sat in.

"I get more admirers than I do find those willing to buy." She finally managed to reply. She kept her distance, but took a few steps forward. "Is there something you need?"

She expected another run. Why else would he stop by. The man obviously had 'other' things to do; things that made her stomach turn just thinking about it.

A frown fell onto his lips for a brief moment. Aries was already testing his nerves, just as well as he was for hers. It seemed they would be a troublesome pair; though, he was expecting as much.

He grunted, a smirk coming onto his lips again. "Typical of a woman." He muttered.

He watched a few passers by, attempting to gather himself. He wasn't typically so disrespected. This woman would be riding on his nerves one way or another; he could tell that much.

"If you're finished, we need to move onto business." He informed turning back to her. "We've a rouge on our hands. You must take care of this...little problem. Or perhaps that's too much of a task for you to handle?"

Malfatto delighted in the fact that she was so intimidated by him. This was definitely a nice pick me up.

"Not something I need, per say," he began slowly, as if mulling over what he really wanted to say. No, blurting it out quickly wouldn't be as much fun.

He gestured to one of the smaller arrangements.

"No sales would be a cause for worry from others and yet you were so valiantly trying to shove my money back at me yesterday...." He trailed off, allowing her to come to her own conclusions. Leading her on would be more fun than just saying what he wanted.

"Ooooh," Aries retorted lightly, removing herself from the bench. She taunted further, "down boy, no need for hostilities."

She placed her hands on her hips stepping forward, out of the shade of the building. The sunlight was strong, caused her eyes to water. She passed a hand over her hair, wishing she had had a hood to tug up. So used to the shade it provided her eyes, reducing the glare of the sun, that she was unaccustomed to it now.

"What information on this rogue do you have or have you not even managed to sniff that much out?"

If he was going to taunt her, Aries reasoned, then she would do the same. It was clear he didn't like being disrespected but in her mind he had started it yesterday, especially after his belittling pet name. No, if he wanted to poke and prod at her, then she would show her horns in response.

Elda wiped her hands off, water from the stems of flowers remaining on her hands. She tossed the clothe she used on the stoll, pondering for a moment. She was connecting the dots fast enough, she simply didn't like where it was going.

Malfatto was playing a game. One she didn't care to be involved with. Still, there wasn't much of anything she could manage to do. He had her life gripped in the palm of his hand.

The question remained, what did he want to do with it.

"You want me to pay you back?" She guessed, a forelorn expression falling onto her features. "I'd already planned on doing that...I suppose you've a different proposal..."

She was catching on, just slightly. If he could play with her, he would; and that's just what he was doing now.

Il Lupo managed another smirk. He circled Aries slightly, watching her carefully. Quite obviously, she was prodding at him just as much as he was to her. Not that he minded. It was amusing after all.

Rubbing his chin, he heaved a sigh. "I suppose I could give you the information. I doubt you'll make it far, regardless of any hints."

He came to a halt, shooting her a look before continuing. "His name is Gino. He's been passing information along to assassins recently." He explained carefully. "It's the same area every day; near a small flower stand; you might have spied it before."

He waved a hand slightly, seeming to be finished with his explaination. "If you are skilled enough, you won't need any more of my help. I will be watching, however."

That would be his job after all. In a sense, it was the best job for him. He wanted to keep an eye on her; this would be the easiest way to go about it, after all.

Malfatto's smirk remained, hidden away from the world behind that mask of his. She was catching on, that was good. Malfatto had no need for a simpleton at his side, after all. He had stood patiently, observing her as she picked her words carefully.

Oh, this was beginning to grow fun for him.

"In a way," he admitted in an offhand manner. "Though, really, you are the one who had sought me out in the first place for the idea. If you do not like your situation you can merely blame your honesty and curiosity."

He cocked his head to the side, looking very much like a bird as he had done so.

"It is a simple task I need from you, later on today...." He let the offer hang again. It was very entertaining to watch the woman squirm.

She blinked at Il Lupo for a minute, as if mulling over the vague information. To say Aries didn't recognize the name would be a lie. Gino had been a confident of the assassins for months, oftentimes meeting up with Demitri to pass along the news from the Templar end.

She had never met Gino face to face. He would not be a problem if he glimpsed her. Gino would not be able to place her as one of the assassins and blow her cover.

Finally Aries shrugged, looking undisturbed by the job at hand. "Okay!"

With that she spun around on the balls of her feet quickly, making a beeline for the little flower stall that Il Lupo had mentioned. She worried about that doctor she had seen prodding around, however, at the flower stall. True she had been hooded, her face obscured and her clothes much different then than what she wore now but Aries still wondered....

Had he glimpsed her face in their skirmish? Would he be able to place her as the assassin she really was?

Aries shook the worry away. She'd deal with that hurdle if it came to it.

Elda narrowed her eyes slightly. He'd been correct in what he had said. She already blamed herself for her own stupidity. She didn't voice it but it was there, screaming in the back of her mind. It was the only reason she was stuck in this situation now.

She heaved a sigh, glancing at the doctor. He was a like a bird, fleeting yet seemed so deadly. Just who he was, she was yet to be completely sure.

"Whatever you need," She muttered her response, quickly turning her attention toward something else. "I just need a time and a place..."

Il Lupo smirked slightly before it faded. The woman held confidence and they needed as such. Still, he couldn't find himself trusting her. At least, not yet; there was no reason for him to trust her.

As he waited in the crowds, he hung back, watching her movements. He'd lend a hand, if he needed to do such. Still, he doubted that he would need to. Gino wasn't that much of a threat; just a coward.

So he hung back, waiting and watching. Whatever skills she held, he would make note of it. This would be the easiest way to see who she was and what she could do.

Malfatto nodded at the woman's answer. Whether or not she was hesitant was of no concern to him. No, he had her where he wanted her now.

"Later this afternoon meet me near the old stables near here, no later than four or I will come and find you," Malfatto informed. With that he pushed off of the little stall, noting how it was still a bit rickety since the incident. This amused him, as did so many things about the in this situation.

With a nod of his head to her he turned and left, leaving the woman to ponder what he would have her do later on. He inclined his head towards the sky as he wandered off. Funny, Malfatto didn't even know her name.

She could feel his eyes boring into her, keeping his distance. Aries scoffed at this. Of course the mangy wolf would keep his distance to watch. She couldn't focus on that, though. Not at the moment.

She kept her pace even. She had trained for years, learned to keep her bearing. A little thing like this? No, she would not allow these thoughts to permeate into physical reactions. Il Lupo did not need any more fuel to toy with.

The way was a short one and in no time at all Aries was there, observing the crowds that passed by from a distance. Indeed she could see the woman of the flower stall she had crashed into there. Had she gotten a glimpse of her face, too?

This thought caused Aries to feel her blood run cold at the idea. She really had to be careful.

Her dark gaze scanned the crowds, keeping to the side and leaning against a nearby building, loitering. She plastered a bored expression on her face, shifting and moving every few seconds to give off the impression of impatience. If anyone were to spy her they would merely think that Aries was waiting on someone to meet her and not that she was scoping out a target.

Elda swallowed hard, taking in the information. She gave a curt nod in reply. Only when he seemed satisfied did he move from her stall. She watched his back, almost afraid that he would turn, glance back at her. When he disappeared, no long noticeable within the crowd, she finally exhaled.

His presence seemed to suffocate her, made it hard to breath. Why shouldn't it? This man was a murderer. Whether it was for pleasure or some personal vendetta, Elda couldn't be sure. A great part of her didn't want to find out either way.

She sucked in a breath, trying to steady herself. A whimper nearly left her. Running hand through her hair, she was forced to sit down. She felt dizzy and was afraid if she remained on her feet any longer, she might collapse.

Elda was left wondering what she had done to get into this situation. She shouldn't have followed him that day. She knew she shouldn't have. Now look where it had gotten her.

Trying to calm herself down again, she sucked in another long breath. When she was calm, she would turn to shut down for the day. With the doctors little threat, she didn't want to be late. She feared her life might be on the line if she was.

Il Lupo watched her from a distance. He didn't trust this woman. The fact that the others had so easily told him how fool hearted they were. She was a danger to them, he could see it. It was simply scrapping up the proof to show it to the others, if not take her out himself.

Shifting through the area, he remained quiet. His gaze didn't slide around the crowd, would draw too much attention if he did. It remained steady, only casting glancing on Aries when the time came.

He wondered what she was plotting in that head of hers, what her intentions really were. If she was an assassin, it was more than likely she was searching out information from their side. That wouldn't have surprised him in the slightest. If she was something else, well, he could only guess what her motives might be.

Moving through the crowds easily, he picked a spot and waited. If she was to prove her loyalty, she would have to do it quickly. He already lacked trust in her. The others would be easy to convince if he had the right evidence.

It was simply waiting on her to slip up. Aries was careful however. It would take time. Until then, he would keep a close eye, even if she was aware of it. Leaked information could do their side a world of harm in the end.

Malfatto found it easy to navigate the streets of Roma. Many seemed to adhere to their instincts and strayed away from him, opening a sort of pathway through crowded areas. In a way it made it easier to get from point A to point B though eyes seemed to follow him. He resisted a scoff at that. There were many other doctors littering the streets, as it were, men in his attire were not strange to see.

Fools, the lot of them, he decided.

He spared a glance upwards, taking note of the time with the sun's location. There were several hours for his newest delivery girl to get him his package. It wasn't anything new though it was rather uncommon. No doubt his supplier would cast her curious looks when she arrived in his place.

A shame, it would be well worth it to see him so baffled by this one, Malfatto lamented.

All of his other package runners had been more spunky, more confident than this one. Malfatto could not resist his grunt at the thought of the woman at his beck and call now. It had only been due to her own kindness of sorts that she was in this position. A far cry from the usual.

"No matter," he muttered to himself, shaking the thoughts away.

Making her way through the little crowds in the area caused her pace to slow. It didn't bother Aries too much other than to make her grow antsier. She wasn't looking forward to ending Gino's life just to instill some amount of faith, if any, that she was loyal to the Templar cause. It was necessary, however, to get more in depth, vital information to the assassins in the long run.

In the time that it took for her to cross the little plaza the flower stall itself had closed. The florist had run off, looking rather panicked over something even as the 'good' doctor left himself. Aries shook off the curiosity that grew for later.

Instead she sought out Gino yet again, slipping into a nearby group and acting as if she were glancing over the wares displayed on another little stall. Instead she peered around under the cover of her hair, the long locks working to shield her face from view. It didn't take long to find Gino's form. He had a bit of a waddle to him, more heavyset than others were and he seemed rather downtrodden at the closed flower stall.

Aries waited a moment or two, watching Gino's path. He seemed to take to wandering about now, glancing at the various stalls and what they displayed. She took to making her way nearer to her target, careful not to make a beeline for him and ruin her cover. It was a process that took several long minutes though she finally made her way to a little bench with only one other person seated on it. Gino was making his way nearer as she sat.

Waiting with bated breath Aries felt herself tense the closer Gino drew to her location. Finally, when he was near enough and hoping no one thought to investigate, Aries acted. She shot up on her feet, a small throwing knife in her hand which she sank into Gino, her other arm holding his body up as best she could. "Forgive me," she whispered in his ear as she spun him around to sit on the bench in her place.

The man who had been seated next to her glanced up at her, spooked. Aries merely gave a smile, one she hoped was calming enough and rushed off. Her knife was quickly tucked away, grateful that not much blood had stained her hand. She wasn't always that lucky.

Now to deal with the mangy wolf yet again, she thought disdainfully.

Elda heaved a heavy sigh. After she had calmed herself, she was able to think clearly again. That fear was still there. He would lord it over her until she broke. It was a simple thing to do, she figured.

She toyed with the idea of leaving. She didn't have to return. She had no where else to go, no place to stay. If she remained on the streets, there was more danger for her there. She was one woman and one who didn't like conflict. He'd made it perfectly clear that he would find her anyways.

Elda didn't want to take the risk on that front.

She pushed some of the people that lined the streets, she looked at the sky. Judging by the it, she had time to get to where his items were delivered and back to the stables he'd asked her to meet him. Four seemed a long way away. Still, she found it wasn't long enough.

She quickly slipped into the crowd, hoping that she had not made a mistake with the time. She had no desire to meet her end at the hands of this doctor.

Il Lupo kept a close eye on her. At one point, he had moved to the roof tops, watching as she slipped through the crowds carefully. There was no hesitation, even as she passed the flower stall that she had taken some interest in not long before.

The act of killed Gino didn't take her long. She was skilled, swift in her work. He watched as she leaned over, whispering something or other in the mans ear. This cause him to smirk.

True enough, this might have been enough to convince some on his side. Not him, however. Il Lupo remained unconvinced. Anyone could kill. What loyalty did that really prove. They had to push her further, he had to. It was merely figuring out what made her tick, what would draw her from her comfort zone.

Stroding the rooftops carefully, he watched, amusement dancing in him. He was taking far too much amusement out of this situation than he should have. Il Lupo waved it away. It wasn't too often a challenge was presented to him. Aries was just that and he would gladly take it.

Moving from the roof tops, he stood a little ways, waiting on her to return to his side. No doubt, her confidence would show. Regardless, Il Lupo had his mind set. Until she could truly prove himself to him alone, she was not a Templar.
