The days had gone by oddly enough. Ever since both girls had woken in a world similar to their own, and yet completely different, they did their best to adjust. With each other, it had been a little easier. While Felicity had some troubles with the general attitude of the person who had found them, well...Kelly seemed happy.

What was more, this man named Turles seemed to kind of warm to her as the weeks passed by. Felicity had noticed it rather quickly. Kelly, however, still seemed a tad oblivious. Funny, how much she wished for affection...

Felicity shook her head, staring at her friend. The once human turned Saiyan seemed to deny it all once again. Felicity snorted, pulling her legs into an indian style position.

Turles had just left the room again. Felicity shook her head a little as he went. The man looked a little bit annoyed knowing that nothing fruitful was coming from his advances. Then again, Kelly wasn't exactly biting either.

"Dude, seriously," she called out to her friend, "He's totally into you and you're not even aware of it. He's been trying to hard, it's not even subtle!"

All Felicity wanted what for her friend to be happy. Seeing her seemingly deny that this man was interested in her was literally painful to watch. Especially so when, between the two, Felicity really only had Kelly as a friend here.

"If you keep this up, he's going to get interested in someone else! You're the one always saying 'leap before you look', remember!"

If only her bark was as big as her bite. Sometimes Kelly said a lot of things that she didn't mean or wasn't brave enough to do. Sometimes it was a little jarring. Felicity was so used to seeing the opposite...

It didn’t take Felicity long to say something once Turles had left. Kelly had barely had the time to turn to her sketchpad—a wasted endeavor for a Saiyan, according to Turles—and start on another piece before she was glancing up at the furry-eared individual. Kelly’s brow furrowed in confusion not only at the comments but at the stern, perhaps even annoyed look on Felicity’s face. Almost defensively Kelly leaned away, shoulder hunched as if expecting to be swatted at by the passive one of the pair.

“No way! I’m a weakling for a Saiyan, he’d want someone stronger for sure!” she argued simply even if her heart fluttered a little at the thought. She offered a harrumph as she turned to her drawing again, tail thrashing a bit in thought.

Felicity meant well, she always did, but this insistence was surely her seeing something that wasn’t there at all. Besides, there were other things to focus on, for both Turles and herself anyways. Turles still had to acquire a new team of fighters after his previous ones had been killed by Goku and his friends, a better airship… Not to mention training Kelly to be up to snuff in an actual battle against a competent enemy. It was enough to fill up the day even without the littler things involved.

She heaved a sigh, her train of thought broken for what she’d had in mind for the drawing. Surely Felicity was just teasing her again! It wouldn’t be the first time after all, the two were famed for it by this point in their lives. Hell, it was probably one of the things that kept ‘em both going in this new universe.

“Don’t make me yank your ears or somethin’!” Kelly argued lightly, hoping to change the subject. Knowing Felicity it might not be so easy to do that however.

Kelly had gone back to drawing as soon as Turles had left. This had become something of a habit. Turles didn't approve of the habit but it wasn't stopping Kelly's passion. Felicity agreed with that much and Kelly's Saiyan gene's kept her incredibly stubborn.

Especially so when it came to what Felicity was saying. She heaved a sigh, grabbing some paper and rolling it up. Felicity leaned forward and bopped the Saiyan on the head a couple of times after she had replied. Really, did she think that little of herself?

"Oh come on!" Felicity protested, "He's hard on you because you're a Saiyan too! He wants you to be strong! That doesn't mean he can't like you too!"

Really, it was this kind of self consciousness that still surprised Felicity at times. She was used to be the self conscious, uncertain one, not Kelly. It bothered her a little bit when someone was there, who was interested, and Kelly just denied it.

Felicity puffed out a cheek, recoiling a little. The first time Kelly tugged on Felicity's ears, pain had shot through her so bad that she had to blink back tears. Her tail was very much the same.

"I'm not joking, Kelly!" she defended, covering her ears quickly, "I thought it was obvious that he was interested, seriously! It's painful watching this, you know?"

Kelly flinched as Felicity reached out to smack her with a stack of rolled up paper. It may not have hurt but it wasn’t pleasant! The hollow ‘thunk’ that sounded with each hit rang in her ears even as she attempted to push Felicity’s hand away while she did so.

“Would you stop that?!” she snapped when Felicity finally did so. A huff escaped Kelly then, the motivation to draw dwindling as they spoke though she did not yet relent and push aside the sketchpad. Still, she couldn’t quite think of an argument to Felicity’s newest points.

Instead of saying anything back Kelly huffed again, turning to bury her nose in her sketchpad. Surely acting busy would work! … Probably not but it was worth a try, especially so when she had no argument to back up her points. It was getting harder to do that each time this topic rolled around she was finding…

Her tail twitched slightly in answer to Felicity this time. That obvious? Sure, there were times when Kelly wondered but they were short and few between. It wasn’t like she’d often gone out of her way to figure these sorts of things out either, putting herself out there if she was interested in someone. The last time she tried things had gone a little sour…

“And what do you expect me to do? Run up and lay a big, sloppy kiss on him or something?” Kelly interrogated, brow furrowed deeply even now. “And what if you’re wrong? I’ll look like a big, dumb idiot!”

Without noticing when Kelly had taken to scribbling nonsense shapes upon the blank page before her out of frustration. Her frown deepened at that yet she didn’t stop if only to make it look intentional. It wasn’t all that like her to let these sorts of things get to her after all.

Felicity stopped tapping Kelly with the paper, heaving a heavy sigh. Why was this so difficult? Really, she would have expected Kelly to be rather flirty in return to Turles advances. Instead, she was denying it was even possible...

"Stop pulling on my ears and I'll stop hitting you one of these days," she countered easily.

For the most part, Kelly tried to get back to work, scribbling something or other on her sketch book. Felicity didn't lean over to see what it was. Having some frustrating times in art herself when that happened, she respected a persons need to simply do as they pleased with such things.

Felicity bobbed her leg up and down a little, ignoring how it was trying to fall asleep even now. Kelly finally addressed her again, leaving Felicity to raise an eyebrow.

"Didn't I just say he was dropping hints for the last week and a half or more?" she replied, "The only way you're going to look like an idiot is not taking the chance!"

After a long pause, Felicity thought about it. She snorted in good humor before she went on, "Or I can just go to Turles and suggest he do that himself! Save you the embarrassment and get the point across!"

Felicity wouldn't normally be one to get too involved with it but it wasn't as if Kelly was going to do it on her own. If she needed a push in the right direction, Felicity would gladly help.

It was a thankful thing for Kelly that Felicity wasn’t one to peer over someone’s shoulder while they worked. If she had she’d easily be able to see that Kelly was bullshitting in an effort to get the topic to drop entirely. The endeavor was clearly a failing one yet appearances were still being kept up despite it. Misshapen doodles could easily be erased later after all.

Kelly huffed again though had nothing to say. Was Turles really dropping hints all week? For longer even? Thinking back on it there might have been a time or two though Kelly couldn’t be sure. She’d been busy with other things after all—training, drawing or reading…

Her face flushed a little at the prospect of Turles just coming up and kissing her out of the blue. It wasn’t an unpleasant idea…

A dismissive wave of the hand followed this thought though Kelly didn’t bother glancing up from the pages before her. It was probably obvious enough that her face was a bit red anyways. She was someone who was pretty easy to read after all.

“I’d rather not make a fool of myself, thank you very much!” she declared quite matter-of-factly. “If you’re that sure of things than be my guest in persuading him to do so!”

Of course she would get huffy about it. The attitude was expected, especially when Kelly didn't believe that it was possible. Truth of it all, it was and she should have been taking the chance. Instead, she was sitting on her hands.

Her face flushed and she stopped drawing once again, shouting at Felicity. It was nice to see some energy in her that wasn't stressing out over training or something else.

"Dude, you love the thought," Felicity teased after a moment, a grin tugging at her lips.

The suggestion was there again and now that she kind of had permission, Felicity didn't see anything wrong with dropping hints. In fact, it sounded down right appealing now!

"I'll do that then!" she taunted lightly in return, "Just remember you said that, though! Seriously!"

If that's what it took, Felicity would gladly do it! After all, she did want to see Kelly happy and this just might be the perfect opportunity!

The girl was dense, not once responding to his hints. Turles wasn't sure how one could be like that. Honestly, he'd been pushing it for a while now and not once had she responded. Her friend seemed far more observant, occasionally raising an eyebrow when he'd speak with Kelly...

He'd walked away again, trying to think things through and figure out what to do next. Kelly was no where near the level she needed to be and her friend was out of the question for fighting. This was all going to take time...Turles was not a patient man.

He heaved a heavy sigh, shaking it off for now. If things kept on like this, he'd be stuck for a long while. With another Saiyan at his side however, he might get lucky.

Turles thoughts were interrupted. He immediately sense high power levels breaking through. Blinking, Turles turned back the way he came. What was that? As soon as it had appeared, it seemed to dissipate...

"Something isn't right," he cautioned as he started back the way he came.

If someone had invaded this area, they would regret it. He would not allow any word of this place to leave without his permission. He was still recovering from the damages Kakarot had created, after all. He couldn't allow anyone warning the Saiyan from Earth.

Felicity was quick to start teasing her, probably seeing Kelly’s face going red. Still, Felicity did have a point that Kelly didn’t mind the thought… Even so it had little chance of happening, that much she was sure of. So why entertain it further? Maybe letting Felicity go prod Turles about it would leave Kelly free from worrying about it for awhile.

“Yeah, whatever, do what you want,” Kelly reasserted once again, shooting Felicity a half-hearted look. “So long as it’s not bugging me about this anymore!”

Though she said that she expected it eventually. They were friends, they bugged each other about all manner of things all the time. It was just the way things went and thought they sometimes griped about it to each other’s faces it wasn’t horrible. It passed the time and kept them entertained more often than not.

Whatever might have been said or done next was interrupted by Turles’ voice. Perhaps for the best, Kelly reasoned, lest Felicity really get some digs in at her expanse. Gave her time to clear her mind too. Still, if something wasn’t right and was bothering Turles than it couldn’t be good. He was too confident to let just anything get to him, that much they’d learned quickly first hand.

“Not right how?” Kelly wondered, tapping the end of her pencil against the page in thought. “Like strong infiltrator not right? What?”

There wasn’t much they could do if they didn’t have an idea. Turles was the only one with a scouter to detect any incoming power levels after all. Just another little supply that needed to be stocked up on in the long run.

Whis smiled pleasantly as he and Beerus arrived at the place of the two newcomers. They had no true place here and yet they’d arrived, settling in with this rambunctious Saiyan and his plans. A curious thing indeed and though Whis had more than enough power to solve the problem overall seeing how things went on as time passed was far more interesting.

While the area in question they’d hidden away at was relatively safe from most who did not know of it, Whis would not be kept out. Nothing could keep him from anywhere he pleased, especially so if something this intriguing arose. This was nearly as good as new recipes! Even so Beerus did not seem quite so interested, perhaps still grumpy from his most recent of naps.

“Come now, Beerus, we’re certainly onto something curious here!” Whis chimed in good-naturedly, starting them off in the direction of the three hidden here.

Yes, there were inspections to make and perhaps a deal or two to strike up to make sure things went smoothly. Whis did not hold any notions that it would be all that easy, after all. It would be only minutes before the three were located, the two curious women merely looking confused rather than hostile like their companion.

The conversation settled down easily enough. Kelly merely looked annoyed by the whole idea. In time, she might think of things differently. Turles really did seem to be dropping a lot of hints.

She snorted in response and shook her head before saying, "I will!"

Nothing was really stopping her. Sure, Turles was intimidating, but he wouldn't harm her. At least, as far as she knew. It was something of an agreement he and Kelly had struck up.

Felicity blinked, her head raising. Turles had returned, an intense expression on his face. What was wrong? Something had to be up if he was looking this serious. Kelly took the incentive to speak up first, asking what the problem was.

"They're hiding their power levels..." Turles pointed out, leaving Felicity to glance at Kelly, "There's no point! I already know you're here!"

Felicity flicked an ear, catching the sound of footsteps. What she would see next was rather odd, definitely not what she expected. A...cat looking man and a tall man, skin colored a very light blue. This place just got weirder and weirder.

"Is this really all we're here for? the cat man called out indigently, "Really Whis, you could have taken care of this yourself, left me to nap for another few years..."

"Who are you? What do you want? I'll at least give you the chance to explain."

Felicity grew tense, glancing down at Kelly again. Whatever was happening here, it might result in a fight...Who knew. These two characters were rather strange. What they were capable of seemed to leave Turles on edge if he returned so quickly...She just hoped that was a bit of a guess though.

It certainly sounded like it and considered he’d recovered from near death it was a given he was stronger than before. Still, it didn’t really give the two a good idea of what to expect.

Kelly tapped her pen on the page again resting her chin on her hand. She didn’t see much sense in getting all worked up unless a threat was actually present and acting in that sort of manner. If that happened then she’d take to keeping Felicity as safe as she could.

“Is that right?” She didn’t get an actual answer, already he was snapping for whoever it was to show themselves.

Kelly quietly observed as two beings rounded the corner, easily entering the room and looking either very bored or quite pleased. At least the one who looked rather content was humanoid in nature, the other was more like a cat or something. A curious thing indeed yet there had been stranger things Kelly and Felicity had seen when this was all just make-believe in their original universe.

”Now, now, Beerus, it never hurts to have a bit of company on these sorts of errands, does it?” the one named Whis answered with a simple wave of his hand.

Turles didn’t allow for much more conversation past that, though they did learn the intruders’ names before that, even if it wasn’t directed towards them. It was increasingly clear that Turles would pick a fight however and though her Saiyan blood called for such a thing as well Kelly had been raised a human, learning more tact than the typical Saiyan.

She snapped her sketchpad shut loudly, tucking it under her arm as she stood, reaching out to pat Turles’ back. The action might have been meant to attempt to calm him or perhaps as a warning not to be so rash. Either way Kelly couldn’t be sure it worked or if it jus agitated him more.

“Don’t mind my brutish friend here,” she half-announced, half-teased. “Though I do admit to being curious too.”

Whis chuckled, looking not at all affronted by Turles’ behavior. “Why, no need for fighting here, we’re simply here for the curious pair of women!”

Felicity blinked as Kelly rose to her feet, patting Turles on the back. Maybe she was approaching this more cautiously than Turles was...She appreciated that. Felicity never really was one for violence...

The pair, Whis and Beerus appeared otherwise pleasant or just bored. A strange pair, especially for their sudden appearance. What this Whis had said caught her attention quickly as well.

"Us?" she spoke up finally, "What about us?"

The cat, Beerus reached up, scratching the top of his head with his index finger, a short claw rather prominent. His other arm remained behind his back and, like before, merely looked bored as he spoke, "Something about breaking the universe...Not that that hasn't happened before."

"These two?" Turles started with a snort, "Neither could fight their way out of a paper bag, especially that one behind me."

Felicity called out an annoyed 'Hey!' but didn't deny it was true. The way things were said were simply rude to a point.

"I don't believe that's the point. It has nothing to do with fighting. You really don't know what you have on your hands."

"Enlighten me, then."

Felicity was curious now, ears pricked forward. What could have been so interesting about them that these two would approach them. Then again, they were from another world...They couldn't have known that, could they?

Breaking the universe? Sounded serious enough to warrant a look into such things. Even so, Kelly didn’t get a chance to comment on it before Turles beat her to it. Though Felicity huffed behind her Kelly found herself more vocal about it, reaching up to thump the back of Turles’ head with her sketchpad. It wouldn’t be enough to hurt but it would annoy him some.

“Punk!”

If nothing else the odd pair before them seemed accommodating enough, answering when prompted to. Even if this Beerus just looked bored with the proceedings he wasn’t jerking them around by not providing answers. That was at least something to admire.

”Yes, well, it might be a little rude to short-hand the story, however it would be far simpler that way for us all,” Whis said with a chuckle. Neither of these two didn’t seem very keen to grow affected by Turles’ obvious hostility. “See, skipping through the barriers the divide universes it quite an offense no matter the intent behind it!”

Kelly blinked, taken aback by the answer. So, this guy knew about Felicity and her own original home then? How was that even possible? Even she and Felicity hadn’t been able to figure out what had happened to them to show up in this place they’d thought was fictional!

“Uh… wait, so… you know about that then?” Kelly wondered, brow furrowing and holding her sketchpad before her almost as if to shoe away whatever reaction Turles might have. He hadn’t exactly asked many questions about where they’d come from once he’d realized Kelly was a Saiyan too after all.

”Why, of course we do! Such things don’t easily escape our notice, you know?” Whis answered.

Felicity's ear twitched as if in response to what was being said. A minor worry seemed to become something much more. So they were aware this had happened and...were looking for them? What happened next, then?

She glanced at Kelly who all but seemed more focused on Turles reaction. The expression on his face was that of confusion as he looked down at her. It was all hard to take in and it wasn't like he'd asked them where they were from...

"What is he on about?" Turles asked then, looking down at Kelly expectantly for some answers. Truth be told, neither of them could really give one...

"It's not like it happens very often," Beerus interrupted, placing his hand back behind his back, "But if and when it does, it endangers the fabric of the natural balance, you see. Normally, only there's only been one person dragged from another plain. I don't recall ever having to deal with two..."

Despite the answers, Felicity only found herself more confused as to what would happen to them. Neither made any outright move to harm them but would that last?

"So what happens, then?" she inquired carefully, "If our being here is as dangerous as you say, what do you do about it?"

Truthfully, she was a little afraid to find out. Eliminating the problem here and now would be so simple. She tried not to think about it, however.

"That's not my call," Beerus answered, "If the universe wants to implode on itself, I'd let it. I am a God of Destruction, after all. No, Whis tends to deal with these kinds of things."

Kelly blinked, turning to glance up at Turles as his attention turned to her briefly. She raised the sketchpad higher, hiding a bit behind it as if it would somehow provide the answers for her. Or perhaps it was merely to better hide her own confusion on the matter. It wasn’t like she fully understood it all either.

“You know, I don’t really have an answer for that,” she answered nonetheless.

It seemed Beerus was more than ready to pick up on that for her, providing what he knew even if he sounded tired and in need of a nap while he did so. Kelly didn’t mind too much, it kept her from fumbling ineffectually for an answer and looking dumb in the process. Even so Turles still looked both skeptical and confused.

”Why, we very well intend to take both us for study,” Whis provided as if it were obvious from the start. “It’s the less violent of the options at hand, at least. To better provide the universe’s very safety these two should very well be disposed of in a proper manner however the opportunity to learn of another universe does not happen often, you see?”

Kelly felt the fur along her tail bristle at the idea of being taken somewhere new without her consent. It had been hell and back just negotiating with Turles that first day to ensure Felicity’s safety as it was! Now she had to deal with these two?

That thought didn’t last very long before her attention turned to Turles. Though his own tail was wrapped tightly around his waist to better protect it, she had caught the way his own fur had stood on end as well. With how he’d been so adamant to keep her around Kelly wasn’t so sure he’d be so lenient with this idea of Whis’.

“Ah, Turles…?”

Well that was enough to put tension straight into the air. Honestly, she'd never seen Turles look so uncomfortable with a situation. She was reeling herself but in a sense, being 'studied' was better than death...

Felicity didn't get a chance to speak up on the matter. Turles looked furious and acted on it immediately.

"I don't think so," Turles answered quickly. He raised a hand, as if ready to attack. Felicity took that incentive to get to her feet and back up. This wouldn't be pretty, "Another universe or not, you will not be taking what's mine."

If that wasn't a clue enough, Felicity didn't know what was. Still, Beerus's ears twitched as if suddenly awake. Something of a light smirk tugged at his lips, eyes narrowing dangerously.

"A low level Saiyan wanting to fight a god? Well, looks like I may have a little bit of fun playing with you a bit."

The taunt was enough to trigger the already annoyed Turles. He shot a ki blast at the two, rushing forward as if expecting one or both of them to attack. Instead, Felicity only noticed Beerus move forward, hands behind his back as before, literally kicking Turles around when he got the chance. Whis, notably, did not join the fray, still looking as pleasant as before...

"So...uh..." Felicity started awkwardly, "This currently leaves us where?"

A rustle of clothes behind her told Kelly that Felicity had risen to her feet, perhaps wary of a fight breaking out. One could almost feel the anger rolling off of Turles at the idea of someone taking her and Felicity away. Still, Kelly had just enough time to wonder how much of that was really aimed towards Felicity or not—she’d had to argue and deal with Turles for so long to make sure Felicity was safe and could stay after all…

“H-hey now—“ Kelly didn’t get the chance to say much more than that before Beerus had spoken up. He certainly sounded for more awake now before he acted, immediately putting Turles in a tight spot. It looked like it was all he could do just to keep up with the beastly feline!

This didn’t seem to deter a conversation from happening, however. Felicity had spoken up, aiming her question towards Whis instead of his feline partner. Though Kelly was concerned about that very topic as well, worry for Turles getting kicked around so easily made it difficult to focus on that alone.

”Well, I certainly had intents of taking you both along for study though with Beerus having his fun I can’t very well leave with out him, can I?” Whis pointed out lightly. A thoughtful look crossed his face then, head cocked to one side soon after. “Perhaps once Beerus has finished a more pleasing deal might be made however? I’d rather not have such annoyances as a stubborn Saiyan trying to interfere with such analysis, you see.”

Annoyance bubbled up within Kelly’s chest at this. Treating them like they were some kind of experiment to be tossed around between anyone! Kelly didn’t exactly have any plans with just traipsing along after any old one!

“Now wait a minute! Don’t we get a say in the matter at all?” Kelly protested, glancing between the pair fighting and Whis. It didn’t look like Beerus was even taking that ‘fight’ seriously at all! “And would you call your friend off?! I hardly think we’re prizes to be won in a squabble or something!”

It was clear Kelly didn't like where this was going. In some regard, Felicity didn't either. It felt like there was no choice here. She understood the gravity of the problem however. This was...far bigger than them.

Felicity swallowed hard, listening to what might be offered. A deal might buy some time and it wasn't like they were being threatened with death. Maybe something could be figured out in the mean time to ensure their position in the universe...

Felicity reached out, taking hold of Kelly's arm to gather her attention. If this worked out, at some point or another, they would be okay...

"Listen," she started, her tone hushed to keep things between them, "I overheard Turles talking about some kind of ability to make a wish. Maybe, if one of us goes with them, that can buy some time for the other. If what Turles says is true, a wish to make our existence more stable here might be possible."

Felicity hoped Kelly got where she was going with this. She might protest the entire thing but if it bought some time, things could work out.

"I can go, maybe," she pressed, ignoring the look on her friends face, "You going is obviously going to send Turles into more of a rage, so this only makes sense."

Before any other protests could be made, Felicity raised a hand a little, smiling. At least this way, things would work out, at least, she hoped.

"If you're willing to just part with one of us, I'll go with you," she offered after a moment, "But I'd like to talk with Turles first, just a quick chat."

A moments notice, the fighting seemed to lessen a little. At least, for once, she'd caught Turles's attention. If that left things calm for a moment, then she was happy.

"Talk to me? What? What are you planning, girl?"

"Just give me two seconds of you're time, and you'll find out. It shouldn't take me terrible long, okay? That is, if we're all in agreement?"

She noticed the cat god, Beerus, glance at Whis and shrug. If that was his agreement, then this was going to run smoother than Felicity had originally believed.

Kelly stopped, turning to Felicity as she spoke in hushed tones. The dragonballs? It wasn’t like they were a reliable method, not without some way to easily track them down. Kelly didn’t get the chance to voice that thought among others before Felicity had taken it upon herself to turn to Whis, speaking as if things had already been settled.

“H-Hey! Wait a minute here!” It didn’t seem that Kelly was going to be listened to, an observation and thought that caused her to bristle.

Whis rubbed his chin, twisting the staff in his hand idly as he thought over Felicity’s offer. He certainly didn’t seem to be in any rush despite what threat their existence might pose on the very universe they now inhabited. A strange thing to see, Kelly realized.

”Well, I suppose that would make for an interesting affair at least,” Whis announced, a smile tugging at his lips again. ”Perhaps this might work if you’re quite sure of this.”

Yet again, Kelly didn’t get much chance to say anything before the fight between Turles and Beerus had settled, allowing for Felicity to hurry off to speak to Turles without warning. He seemed worse for ware despite Beerus seeming unhindered and uninjured. Kelly was left confused while Felicity went to go speak to Turles, leaving Kelly with Whis and Beerus for a time.

“So,” Kelly started, looking a little irritated and perhaps even a little wary. “God huh? Self-appointed or born that way?”

Well, things were certainly starting to turn interesting. The thought of someone jumping worlds being kept so close was honestly something to look forward too. Not to mention the one left behind could still cause distortions in the universe.

Beerus scratched his head, repressing a yawn that tried to escape. The woman who made the offer was quickly dragging that brutish Saiyan away to speak. Whatever it was about, he could only assume. Beerus's attention wasn't on them long, however, as the woman Saiyan inquired about him.

"Made a god," he simply answered, "By this pleasant looking one here."

It was Whis's job, after all. When one God of Destruction disappeared, another took their place. Beerus was merely one of the many. He had every intention of sticking around for as long as possible.

"Though, it's terribly boring at times," he pointed out, "A good long nap for a few years would be nice after this..."

Annoyance seemed to melt away from her face for a brief moment. He raised a brow in curiosity. It was there and gone for a moment as her friend returned, seeming far too pleased with the situation as it was.

"Another smiley one," Beerus commented, "Feels like the two of you might get along, Whis."

"If we're done," the Saiyan commented, "There are things to be done..."

Beerus, who’d seemed so energetic at fighting with Turles, was yet again looked like he was in need of a serious nap. Even so he was pleasant enough to answer her. So, gods could just be made in this universe? The idea was both a thrilling and curious prospect.

“A-Ah… A ten-year nap sounds nice, actually…” Kelly muttered. There was no way she’d get any kind of good nap in around Turles who was so hellbent on getting her skilled in combat day-in and day-out.

Whis managed to offer up a chuckle at that before Felicity bounded up to them once more, smiling from ear-to-ear. This was enough to cause Kelly to grow curious, wary even. What was there to be so smile-y about? They couldn’t even be sure that they’d be able to see each other again once they were split up for this observation stuff—assuming it went down that way anyways.

”Come now, it never hurts to look positively on things that come,” Whis replied to Beerus. It was a nonchalant sort of answer, one that said that this type of banter between the pair was normal.

Kelly didn’t dwell on that long, arms folding over her chest as she glanced towards Turles. What had Felicity told him? Her curiosity ached to know. Even so it didn’t seem like he minded Felicity being the one taken away. That wasn’t too much of a surprise with how Kelly had argued tooth and nail to keep her here and safe when she was clearly a noncombatant.

“Now, wait—“

”Well, well, it seems things have been hashed out then, hmm?” Whis wondered, still smiling.

Whatever had been said while Felicity spoke to Turles, she could only assume. It wasn't like she minded either way. As long as Kelly was okay and safe and happy, she'd do whatever it took.

"That's right," she agreed easily, "The worst that could happen is death, and I'll take anything that's not that. Besides, I get the feeling that Turles doesn't quite like me."

She ignored the way the man crossed his arms and huffed. He already looked dead on his feet after Beerus was through with him. Surely that left the Saiyan annoyed already.

"Well, if we're finished here, then," Beerus finally said, "I'd like to get back and sleep."

Felicity glanced at Kelly. She was about ready to protest once again, that much could be seen. Felicity had already made her agreement, so she wasn't going to go back on it. Who knew, at some point they might see each other again.

"Yes, they have," Felicity agreed, "Whenever you're ready, I suppose."

Whatever Kelly did after this, Felicity just hoped that it worked out. If they could make that wish, things could settle. Until then, buying time would be the most important thing...

It didn’t seem like Kelly was going to get a word in edgewise. Already Felicity was striding towards Whis and Beerus’ side, even as the later was yawning and complaining of the need for a nap. It seemed like Turles didn’t even really have much to say, perhaps sour over the beating he just took from Beerus. It looked like all he could do to stubbornly remain standing as it was!

”Well then, let us head off then,” Whis announced, turning and waiting until Beerus and then Felicity took hold of him either by his clothes or an arm. A tap of his staff later and a brief burst of light and the trio were gone.

A moment or two of silence passed before Kelly heaved a sigh. Looked like she hadn’t gotten much of a choice in any of that. Annoying as that was there wasn’t much she could do about it now but hope Felicity ended up safe with those two.

In a bid not to focus on that for long Kelly tossed her sketchpad down where she’d been sitting before this mess started. It’d be safe enough there for the moment. Though Turles was a proud man and probably wouldn’t admit to this loss against Beerus easily he was still covered in quickly forming bruises and a few cuts and gashes here and there. Beerus’ claws must have caught him a time or two.

“Come here, you brute,” Kelly coaxed. “Covered in your own blood like that doesn’t suit you much!”

If nothing else maybe Turles would let her wipe away his blood from his face. The distraction would be welcome.

It had only taken a moment before they’d arrived back to where he and Beerus called home. It was a nice place, one where Felicity might find comfort over the days as she was observed. Whis certainly wondered what might come in that time.

“Ah, and here we are!” Whis pointed out cheerfully, turning to offer a reassuring smile to the newcomer. “I imagine you’re quite curious of this place now, hmm?”

All-in-all this had turned out well enough. Beerus had gotten a bit of fun out of the Saiyan male and the other had remained. While the fabric of the universe might very well be at threat with the other remaining where she was it would certainly prove interesting. Whis did not provide the universe with a God of Destruction for nothing, after all.

“Beerus, I presume you’re off for another nap then?” Whis wondered briefly. It certainly wouldn’t be surprising. Beerus could be quite predictable and it would leave Whis some time to learn about Felicity.

Once again Whis took to twisting his staff idly as he awaited Beerus’ plan of action. Perhaps while Beerus took to sleeping Whis would go about showing Felicity around. This would be her home now after all.

There were no further arguments. Even as Kelly looked like she was about to protest, her friends simply strode to the pair and left. She'd explained briefly want her plan one. It was clever but it wouldn't be easy...

He blinked, glancing at Kelly as she spoke. Turles wiped blood from his brow. That Beerus would get what was coming to him one day. Turles would make a point to get even stronger than the god.

"You didn't stop her," he pointed out, sitting down. He let his forearms rest on his legs, "That surprised me."

Kelly had been vehement against Felicity's death when he first found him. He thought the woman was useless. It would have been far kinder to dispose of her immediately. Instead, Kelly had fought for her life. To see her let her go so easily was surprising.

He allowed her to tend to some of his wounds. Pain flared here and there but nothing that he couldn't handle. That was his life, after all. One pain after another.

"The blood will wash away," he pointed out easily, "It comes with this kind of life. I'm more than used to it."

Turles glanced at Kelly then. It seemed that her friend had caught on rather quick. As they spoke, she did drop a hint or two on how he could better capture Kelly's attention...He'd have to make due on that.

The feeling of transporting from one place to another so quickly left butterflies dancing in Felicity's stomach. It was such a strange feeling and one that didn't settle for a few moments, even after they had arrived in the place they called home.

Beerus had quickly stepped away, a loud yawn leaving him. He rubbed the back of his head before easily waving Whis off. It seemed Whis was correct in his prediction.

"I'm sure you can handle one little girl, Whis," he pointed out casually, "I'll be asleep if you need me."

Felicity released her grasp on Whis's clothes, too engrossed in looking about this strange place to pay any mind to the conversation. It really was a different place, quiet in some regard, but very large.

"Curious would be an understatement," Felicity pointed out, glancing back at Whis. He'd taken to idly twisting his staff this way and that, "Where is this place?"

It certainly didn't appear the same as the place she was before. To say it was somewhat elaborate would be an understatement in and of itself. Maybe that's what was expected for where a god to live, however.

Turles at least seemed to comply easily enough, sitting down and waiting for her to get to it. Well, that was a pleasant surprise and Kelly quickly sat before him, moving to wipe away what blood she could. Some of the cuts were still bleeding a little however, making the process a little more difficult.

She offered a half-hearted hum in answer initially. Felicity was just as stubborn as Kelly could be even if Turles hadn’t seen that yet. There had been no reason for him to during her stay here thus far.

“She didn’t exactly leave me much of a chance to,” she pointed out finally.

Though he was a Saiyan and was used to pain ad reveled in a good fight, Kelly still took to being gentle with those wounds. She was a little surprised that Turles was letting her tend to him like this though, gingerly wiping away what blood she could from his face. The most prominent wounds were upon his forehead and a busted lip but otherwise seemed fine there.

Turles was quick to point out the ease of washing away the blood later though Kelly pulled a face at that.

“Blood is sticky and sticky is gross,” she protested, pressing her thumb over the bleeding wound at his forehead. The sooner it stopped bleeding the easier cleaning him up would be. “It absolutely drives me up a wall!”

Beerus had wandered away declaring himself in need of a nap, just as Whis had predicted. Perhaps that was for the best for Felicity. She could probably be more at ease with just Whis to defer to with her questions. She certainly seemed curious as it was, already glancing around in fascination.

Whis waved a dismissive hand to Felicity’s question. “Ah, that matters little! Merely enjoy the sights and settle in for now,” he suggested.

Questions could come later, when Felicity had found her niche in this little place. He chuckled at that thought. Yes, little was quite the understatement for sure. This was a place that was a far cry from the run-down and drab area that she’d been in before. Perhaps she might be realizing that this was a far cry from her prior arrangements.

“I am sure there is much you have running through your mind, after all. Let’s give you the time to sort them all out first,” he offered further.

If nothing else Whis felt this was fair. Less important questions could be tended to as they came but for the larger affairs it would be best for Felicity to have settled in first. She still looked to be a little shaky on her feet after the transportation here as it was.

Even if she said it, Turles had his doubts about her friends stubbornness. Then again, she might have just tossed herself willingly into the lions den. For Kelly's sake, he didn't mention that out loud.

"Well, I guess I can see it, a little," he pointed out after a moment, "Even if the girl refuses to fight."

Turles supposed he didn't get the chance to really pay much mind to her, not that he had made plans for it in the past. She seemed to think things through quickly, even if her decisions were rash.

Kelly tended to the wounds carefully, wiping blood away from the wounds. The hot, sticky feeling would disappear here and there as he became aware of the blood being wiped away. What she had to say left him snorting.

"You're such a girl sometimes!" he protested easily, "A Saiyan shouldn't be bothered by such things! And here you are, complaining about the feeling of blood? You really are strange!"

Then again, maybe that's what drew him to like her so much. She was a Saiyan but something of a strange one. She didn't act like some of the ones he knew in the past.

"I guess that's what left me so curious over you, however," he pointed out a moment later, heaving a sigh.

Beerus had disappeared from sight. Wherever he was going, Felicity figured she'd find out at one point or another. It would simply take some time to really know this place.

She couldn't deny being somewhat relieved to have left Turles. The man clear did not like her for her choices in not fighting. A little less stress for her to worry about now. Still, there was everything ahead that still worried her.

Whis was rather polite about it all, suggesting not to worry so much about the small things. Felicity felt her ear twitch in response, as if in thought. She nodded in agreement then. True enough, it would take a while for her to grow used to things here.

"Well, you're certainly right about that," she replied after a moment. Mostly, she wanted to know if they knew how a person could jump universes. For now, she kept that question to herself, "I've been trying to figure things out for a while. But I think I could put off those questions for a tad longer."

Mind as well take things one step at a time. She was unaware of a lot of things that had happened in the past. With no answers, the most she could do was wait and see how things played out.

"Do you mind if we wander?" she asked, glancing around again, "I'd like to get a feel for this place...to, you know, avoid getting lost at some point or another."
