The topic over Felicity didn’t last long, perhaps by design. There would be plenty of time to worry about her and how she was faring later, when things had settled further. For now the distraction of tending over Turles was a welcome one. Was he even aware of that?

Soon enough he was making fun of her, pointing out how unlike a Saiyan she really was. Kelly didn’t see anything wrong with that though on occasion Turles would prod her about it whenever there were down times to be had. Few and far as they had been in the last weeks since coming here, they’d existed nonetheless.

“It’s not the blood that bothers me it’s the stickiness to it!” she argued, aware that she might have taken to pouting a little.

Kelly blinked, peering curiously at Turles as he sighed, his comment piquing her interest. Curious of her? What was there to be curious about? She did what she felt like and that was that. Wasn’t that how anyone went about their life?

She pulled her hands away from his face then, sitting back and wondering what to say to that. This wasn’t the sort of conversation she expected of Turles. He was always so confident and driven, yet here he was looking a little worn down and even thoughtful. A strange turn of events from the short time she personally knew him.

“Curious about what…?”

Felicity didn’t seem to mind the chance to sort her thoughts out overtime before they’d talk more seriously. It would be best that way. Whis didn’t wish to deal with a more stream of conscious affair of questions. When she could fine point her thoughts and questions they’d be better off in the long run.

“There may not even be proper answers for the questions you settle on in the long run,” Whis pointed out simply.

Moments later Felicity was wondering if she was free to wander about or not. Whis saw no harm in it, a hand falling to her shoulder and urging her forward. It would be best this way as well, if only so that Felicity knew the area best. He’d rather not have to go looking for her in the event that she grew lost here. It was far more open and complex than that previous area she’d been in with the Saiyan pair.

“Why of course! There’s no reason not to,” he answered. “It may even settle your nerves.”

Perhaps even a delicious snack or two might help in that endeavor. Whis certainly wouldn’t mind trying something new if he could. Perhaps Felicity might even have a new delicacy to share! My, the thought was a pleasing one.

He snorted in response to her words. Whatever her problem with blood was, he would brush the topic off for now. At least someone was still around to aid with his wounds. Why those two were planning on taking both Felicity and Kelly, he couldn't say. The universe seemed fine at the given moment.

Really, Kelly was dense if she was asking this again. He couldn't believe that she didn't get it already. She was one of the only female Saiyans left and with a fiery personality to boot. Of course he would find her curious!

He huffed in response, looking elsewhere for a brief moment. What was he supposed to tell her? Kelly's friend had told him to be as blunt as he could be...

"I figured it was obvious," he muttered in response, "I'm finding more and more that you are one incredibly dense woman!"

He glanced back at her, noting the confusion on her face. It was still there, prominent and not once melting away. He snorted again, shaking his head.

"I've been interested in you for a while," he finally said, "More so than I'd like to admit. And yet every time I said something, you ignored it! Make me look like a damn fool, you know."

If that wasn't blunt enough, he didn't know what was. Turles left it at that, letting it hang in the air for a long moment. At least now, she'd have an idea.

What he said held a lot of truth. Even if she had a lot of questions, she might not get the answers she wanted or any answer at all. In all honestly, she was prepared for that at this point. She appreciated his honesty as well.

"Well, I won't lie. I somewhat expect that," she answered him, "But I appreciate that you're truthful about it."

Better than getting her hopes up on the entire matter. Felicity had more or less accepted the lack of being able to return home. Something told her that wouldn't be happening, so she buried it as much as she could and moved on. Now, things were just escalated.

The conversation was there and gone as Whis urged her forward gently. It would be best to get to know this place and it's halls. It was huge and she didn't want to find herself lost in one of the many rooms.

"More than you know," she replied, sparing a small smile.

Bad nerves were something that seemed to come naturally for her. Even with Kelly, she still had stresses and her mind at times worked far too quickly. It was something she had to live with and find ways to settle her head.

"So...you're cat friend," she started after a moment, "He seems...quaint."

Her brow furrowed, curious herself as to Turles’ sudden shift in demeanor. He was so blunt and forward with what he wanted and needed, at least from what Kelly had seen over the weeks she’d been here. Seeing him look almost bashful was entirely new to her. In fact, Kelly would have thought this side of him didn’t exist at all!

Eventually he answered, muttering of all things. Her confusion soon made way to embarrassment, her heartbeat loud in her ears and her face growing hot. She cleared her throat, rubbing her hand over her mouth in a half-hearted attempt to hide her reddening face. So, Felicity had been right. The fact that Kelly had been so blind to it was embarrassing enough but this…

“S-Sorry!” she managed to mutter after a moment or so had passed. What else was there to say about that? Kelly hadn’t meant to make him feel dumb or anything! She really should have just listened to Felicity it seemed…

Timidly, Kelly reached out to loop her arms around Turles in a hug. It was a hesitant thing; did the typical Saiyan even really take to traditional affection like this? Kelly didn’t know but it was the easiest way to answer Turles without stumbling over her own words like an idiot. It kept him from seeing her red face as well and teasing her about it later.

“I’m kinda dumb sometimes,” she managed to mumbled after a moment, face buried in Turles’ shoulder.

Well, at the very least Felicity had a good head on her shoulders! That much was growing more evident as time passed and Whis spoke to her. Even going so far as to let herself come along while leaving her companion behind to keep the peace—it was an admirable thing, if not a little foolish overall.

“At least you have realistic expectations,” said Whis, starting off after Felicity did. He would leave her to take the lead and see what things took to her interest. There was no need for him to hold her hand entirely after all. “I have no reasons to lie either.”

Felicity’s attention drifted here and there, taking in the many elaborate halls that made up this beautiful place. Truly the ones that Whis took under his wing to be the God of Destruction could be quite spoiled in this place. Even so Whis didn’t mind too much, so long as the God took up his duties when need be. Sometimes Beerus needed a bit of prodding into getting up from his naps.

He shook the thought aside, turning his attention more fully back to Felicity once more. Now was not the time to get lost in thought.

“Ah, yes, Beerus can be a handful at times,” Whis said with a chuckle. “Don’t mind him and his penchant for a long nap.”

Embarrassment was easy to see on her face. In fact, Turles was sure her tail was bristling with the thought as it was now. He huffed in response. Well, at least she was getting it now!

Really, he would have expected some kind of reaction far sooner than this and without him having to just outright say it.

What she did next was a bit of a surprise to him. She reached out, looping her arms around his waist, tugging herself closer. While a softer thing for a Saiyan to do, Turles didn't outright say it. Why ruin it when she finally got the picture?

He let an arm wrap around her slender waist. Kelly was a scrawny thing, for a Saiyan. Regardless, that bloodline was very rare now.

"Well, at least they finally got it!" he pointed out instead, "I swear, I didn't know how to drop anymore subtle hints! Everything went right over your head!"

It probably didn't help her embarrassment, but it was the truth. To have the quieter one pull him away and outright tell him to be blunt was enough. What a strange pair these two had been.

If anything, she seemed comfortable now that it was all said and done. Turles could go on more confidently now, if he could help it.

He spoke the truth, there was no reason to lie. Still, the notion in and of itself was a kind thing. She would have rather known the truth than be comforted with something that was an outright lie.

"That's true," she answered easily, "But it would be easy to simply tell a lie."

Felicity was the logical type, strategic even if she let herself be. Perhaps that's why she acted this way, with more realistic expectations. If anything, it left her without getting her hopes up too often.

She took the brief bit of silence to study the place. It really was beautiful. A place like this would have ordinarily made her feel rather awkward. Without really needing to worry about being as poor as she was, the feeling didn't hit as hard.

Finally, he spoke up again about Beerus. She offered a chuckle of her own. That sounded about right, he was a cat after all.

"Just like a cat," she answered easily, "He seems like he's a rather interesting roommate, from what I've seen already."

Felicity wasn't sure about the whole destruction god thing, but it was clear that Beerus had a tremendous amount of power if Turles had been shaken and even kicked around by the god. She wondered what it would be like, living with the pair...

Turles didn’t seem to mind her hug. Instead he’d wrapped an arm around her in return, drawing her a little closer. Even so he was still teasing her, her face growing a little hotter as he did so. Really though, she shouldn’t have expected otherwise.

“Sh-Shut up!” she replied huffily. There wasn’t any more need to harp on about it, was there? Sheesh…

For the most part Turles didn’t seem to mind what had happened now, perhaps because he’d ultimately gotten his way in the end of things on these matters. Kelly didn’t bother to dwell on it too much, rather content herself at Turles’ side. It made Felicity’s departure easier to deal with at the moment.

Her mind wandered back to minutes ago, when he and Beerus had scuffled. Those words he’d said were more telling now than before. Kelly offered another scoff, pulling away to shoot a look at Turles though it might have been poutier than she’d like.

“’What’s yours’, huh?” she echoed from earlier. “You know I’m not property, right?”

Whis waved a dismissive hand at her comment. There were no reasons to lie to her or anyone else. Such things wouldn’t serve him at all in the long run. No, honestly truly was the best policy. It certainly made things far easier at the end of the day as well.

“Lies are far more complex,” he noted airily.

Their conversational topics drifted then on to Beerus, Felicity’s curiosity about the God apparent. Ah, but who wouldn’t be curious of him? His temper certainly made him a prime God of Destruction even if he was more in favor of a good nap more often than not. Felicity would see such things in time.

“Yes, quite,” Whis agreed. Just like with lies there was no need to deny the truth. Whis was far more capable of dealing with honesty than dishonesty overall. It seemed Felicity appreciated the gesture as well.

Though his gaze wandered to and fro, he kept a good eye on Felicty and her reactions. Yes, her own attention went here or there, to whatever quickly caught her eye. It was fascinating to watch.

She seemed huffy about what he said. Well, good, that was the right response when it came to him teasing her. At least that fiery side of her didn't seem to falter. He was rather glad to see that.

"Make me," he teased easily in response.

She wasn't brave enough to do something like that. Kelly might push and prod but that was about it. Only when they were training did she really put up a rather large fight.

It seemed that she hadn't missed what he had said earlier. Turles snorted. Hadn't it been obvious when he had said it? He'd long since claimed her as his, though that was the first time he had said it out loud.

"I don't know," he said after a moment, "Are you sure about that? I think you're very nice property to have at my side."

A smirk tugged at his lips as he glanced down at her. Her face seemed to grow red again. Turles had made his point rather clear, it seemed. Good, at least she was getting it now!

Felicity nodded in response to his words. He seemed wise with words. Then again, she wasn't really sure how long he had been around. When it came to gods and the like, maybe Whis had been around for a long time. If that was the case, he was far more experienced than she would ever be.

The agreement was simple enough. Beerus would be something of a bottle of surprises for her, it seemed. After all, she'd only seen a bit of what he was like. With a penchant to nap, she probably would only see bits and pieces of his personality at a time.

Their walk seemed to continue in silence for a bit, that was until they entered another room. Huge glace, from near ground to ceiling caught her attention. It only took a moment to catch the sea life moving about.

"Whoa," she started, tipping her head back a little to take in the full sight, "That's amazing."

Felicity couldn't help but wander up to the glass to get a closer look. She had a small aquarium at home, always something she watched when she needed to relax. She'd always loved fish and sea life. This was just amazing to be able to witness and here, she could watch it whenever she wanted!
