| Babies r’ Us Sue
A common kind of Sue; This Sue normally hooks up with a canon character or the opposite gender and have one or more children. This type of Sue may have more than one father or more than one boyfriend, suggesting several affairs simply to get the ‘writers’ personal fantasy onto the interwebz and try to convince everyone that this story is good.
Canon Sue
Canon sue is a corruption of a legitimate canon character within a fandom. It gets to the point that they resemble that fanfic author. They have special powers, undergo makeovers, become great friends with the canon character the author loves (or enemies with the canon character the author hates), or just act completely out of character in a way that makes those familiar with the canon character scream in horror.
Clone Sue
A very common Sue that is an exact replica of a canon character. The gender may be swapped yet somehow, the canon character overlooks this coincidence and falls in love with this Sue.
Combo Sue
This Sue is a combo of at least two or more different characters from two or more different fandoms. These Sue’s typically can be found in cross over stories. I.E., Pokemon Naruto cross over with a Ninja Pokemon trainer.
Helpful Sue
This Sue is everyone’s friend. They are the natural savior of the day. She heals the hero and is an expert in medical powers. She gently coaxes the token kid’s cat out of the tree with her amazingly sweet singing voice. She rescues innocent goats from cruel cashmere salesmen. She gives the canon gals a friendly shoulder to cry on! Before, of course, eventually stealing away their boyfriends and pets with her bubbly and sweet personality! However, it’s not her fault everyone loves her!
Often, the writer will throw in an Angry or Evil Sue just to give her a nemesis. She will either, come out looking better than or change this ‘evil character’ for the better with her fairy godmother ways.
Raepist Sue
This Sue resides in the writer’s most carnal, self-serving mindset, with an addiction to intercourse. This Sue is all hormones.
Her writer is obsessed with the canon character is to berate other writers for the same thing. Any good thing this Sue preforms is always motivated by self-interests. Her life consists of self-gratification, self-worship, and getting what she can out of those around her. This Sue is a home wrecker if the established character already has a romance interest.
She uses her ‘magic powers’ to force characters not tilling to do what she wants into catering to her every whim. She thinks she rocks their world. She is quick to use characters vulnerabilities against them to her own gain. Those who can’t be bewitched she browbeats or guilt-trips until they give in to her.
All other characters are jealous of this Sue. They all try to kill themselves, trying to win or keep affections or rescue her from danger (not that she cares.) Everyone excuses her mistreatment of them because she’s so ‘beautiful’ and ‘special’.
Angry Sue
This Sue is typically rebellious, with some sort of angst in her past, and known to wear a lot of black.
Often, they are ‘Warrior Sues’, capable of killing everything in their way in order to get revenge; that, or simply because they can. Only their ‘lover’ can ease with their anger, although, this type plays hard to get. She generally fangirls a rebellious or angsty male character such as Sasuke.
See My Immortal.
Baby Sue
This form of Ant-Sue is the Raepist MarySue minus about five or ten years. She is the angsty either year old who was most likely orphaned and is in search of her parents. She insists they are not dead. She may have a disability in order to get other characters feeling sorry for her. She is supposed to out talk any adult, making them appear stupid next to her.
Writers of the Baby or Raepist Sues typically end up with the writers of other Sues made at them for leading in many stupid and berating insults at bother the Sueauthor and her characters.
Anti-Sue
The most bearable of all MarySues; Anti- Sues are supposed to be the complete opposite of Mary Sues. Meaning, every character hates them, they don’t hook up with anyone, never get the spotlight in a fanfic, and are usually very ugly and weak. They have no desire to fight the bad guy or save the world or even sleep with every character.
Most of the time, Anti- Sues are just as horrendous as their Mary-Sue counterparts; especially grating when all the other characters still love them to death.
Depressed Sue
Depressed Sue is filled with angst. Generally, this derives from some tragedy in her past. She evokes the sympathy of at least one canon character (generally the opposite sex) and develops a relationship based on crying about how hard it is to be an orphan.
If her parents aren’t dead, she’s crying about how much they abuse her. She is also fond of rape or suicide attempts as means of provoking sympathy.
Depressed Sue somehow manages to manifest some great power once she believes in herself.
Evil Sue
An Evil Sue is typically involved in some way with the villain of the fandom; this being either a relative or a boyfriend/girlfriend. They sometimes simply replace the canon villain. This Sue type is characterized by the stereotypically villain behavior such as sadism, long bouts of insane laughter, and attempting to kill canon characters.
Another common element of an Evil Sue is some sort of mysterious or abusive past but this is often shared by other categories or Sue. The only reason it’s mentioned is that the sordid past is often pointed to in explaining and excusing justifying the Evil Sue’s behavior; whereas most other Sues a tragic past explain it all.
Gimp Sue
This Sue has a tragic physical handicap or illness. By far the most popular are blindness or inability to speak. Gimp Sue has also been known to suffer from paraplegia, deafness, or horrible facial scars. Although, Gimp Sue is impossibly perfect in every way, her creator will insist that her ‘flaw’ means she can’t be a MarySue. Often, she will ‘prove’ this by citing her low score on one of the MarySue online tests which subtract over 9000 Sue-points if you make your character a cripple.
Though Gimp Sue’s disability supposedly stops her being a Sue, it gets her sympathy from all canon character and doesn’t make her any less attractive as the hero.
In worst cases of self-pity, the entire plot if summed up as ‘OMG I’m BLIND! OH NOES!!11!!!!!!’.
Ugly Sue
Unlike the romantically afflicted Gimp Sue, Ugly Sue is honestly unattractive. She’s over weight, has zero dress sense, her hair is stringy and her teeth are crooked. She’s untalented in everything and has a perfectly ‘genuine’ character flaw, like being selfish, tactless, and whiny.
She doesn’t save the day; instead, she constantly does stupid things that actually get her into trouble.
All this is quite refreshing for about three chapters. Afterward, it’s simply annoying and repetitive.
Famous Sue - Submitted by Anna0000
He/she is a famous singer and/or actor/actress that EVERYONE in the whole wide WORLD loves except for their love terest. their interest seems to be the only one who can ignore them, or not faint at the sight, and then this sue is absolutely dumbstruck and starts some sort of rivalry with their interest, eventually their interest learns more about them and their 'horrible past' or something and they kiss, the end
The Animal Sue - Submitted by Juri
A sue that is a human-animal hybrid. While they are most often nekos(cats), some have wings or simply animalistic eyes and teeth. These sues are almost never found in a fandom where their existence makes sense, and their back stories are usually weak, if not nonexistent. They are needlessly innocent for some reason, and extremely protective of the cannon character they are paired with. They are often paired with cannon character with animalistic qualities (Example: a NekoSue paired with Grimmjow) or a 'mad scientist' that created or captured them (Example: Vexen or Szayel capture AnimalSue for experimentation, fall in love with them).
