~Project K~ {Leon S. Kennedy} Pt.9 Return of the Bella Sisters


Already I hate this chapter and we haven't even started yet.


Once outside the cabin after resting up you found ammo all around Game mechanic fail. Sure, in-game you'll find butt-loads of ammo lying around after a particularly lengthy or difficult section but in reality what are the odds a little run-down backwater village is going to have as much ammunition as these two would need? Especially since Gabby15cancer is having these two fight nearly everything - there is no clever solution to anything it's just straight up point and shoot. and reloaded your guns while meeting up with the Merchant once again as Leon was purchasing things you heard Ashley stifle a cough as you looked out of the corner of your eye and noticed red substance Ashley didn't start coughing up blood until later on in the castle. Continuity, apparently we cannot have that. on her right hand as she pulled it away from her mouth and quickly wiping it away on her skirt. Strange. From there you and Leon had a decision to make: left or right?

The transitions between subject matter is truly appalling. One minute we're talking about Ashley coughing up blood and immediately afterwards it's completely forgotten about in favor of pointing out the small group now has a choice to make.

Leon opened up both gates as the three of you stood there, no one moving. What's the point of opening up both gates? Why not just pick a gate and go through that one?

“I’ll go left you and Ashley go right.” You say to Leon as he looks at you.


The stupidity... it hurts. There are only three of you with one of you being the one escorted to safety and thus not a fighter - WHY WOULD YOU THINK IT'S A GOOD IDEA TO SPLIT UP! THIS IS NOT SCOOBY DOO!

“Either way we go we’ll exit in the same place why separate?”

No. I call bullshit. Yes, you find a document in the shack next to the Merchant in-game that tells you the two pathways lead to roughly the same area but that document wasn't mentioned in the narrative meaning they should, by all rights, not know this!

“It seems more fun that way.” You replied as Leon shook his head while smirking.

Yes, because murderous mobs and horrendous nightmare-creatures are typically 'fun'. Asshat.

“Are you sure Karla? Leon’s right we should stick together.” Who the hell is speaking there? I'm pretty sure it's Ashley but there's no tag following along that states that.

“Don’t worry about me Ash. There’s something special about me that you don’t know.”


You see that right there?! She's even admitting that's she Better Than You now! She just cannot go for very long without referencing those stupid powers of hers! NEWS FLASH: SPECIAL POWERS DO NOT MAKE YOU BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE! JUST LOOK AT THE MONSTER ALBERT WESKER BECAME WITH THAT MINDSET!

“But you look no older than me. What if it’s not safe?”

“I’m only twenty-four Ashley and I can take care of myself,


This is coming from the girl who has had to be dragged around by Leon numerous times, pulled up off her ass after jumping out a window, and had to rely on him to draw out the poison in her body - never mind the fact that the poison should, by all rights, not exist nor the fact that if she has Sue-per healing abilities it would stand to reason she'd have a Sue-per immune system to boot and thus it would have been a moot point anyways.

I may not be loaded as though I’m going into war but I can manage. Besides you’ll be safe with Leon trust me.”

I wouldn't trust you as far as I could throw you. In fact, on principle, I would pretty much just do the opposite of whatever you think is a good idea, mmkay, Barbie?

You said but she still looked unsure until Leon placed a hand on her shoulder, “She’ll be just fine Ashley trust her on this.”

You nodded and started on your way as she and Leon went towards the right.

By the by, I love how the writer has her self-insert deal with the murderous mob and the Bella Sisters by taking the left path and leaving Leon and Ashley to deal with the much more potent and dangerous El Gigante on the right path. Just some food for thought there.

“Doesn’t look so bad.” You murmured and looked around to find that you ended up taking the path with a maze. A maze, really? That pathway is fairly linear - believe me, I just replayed that section not even half an hour ago! As you climbed up the stairs Because I must nitpick - ladder. It was a fucking ladder! and crossed the wooden walkway you heard the yelling.

¡“Mate a la perra!” screamed one of them.

“Did you just call me a bitch?!” you demanded but all you received was a yell and a ax thrown at you, you quickly ducked and pulled out one of your pistols instantly shooting the Ganado that threw it.

¡“Consígala!” (Get her!)

“Mierda.” (Shit) You cursed in your second native tongue before jumping off the walkway and landing in a pit where the sound of chainsaws filled the air once more.

“Double shit!” you cursed in English this time as you saw all three of the Bella Sisters laughing once more while walking slowly towards you.

Is it really necessary to have had her cuss in her "second native tongue"? Or can I just assume that that was to show off how amazingly speshul Karla-Sue is for knowing two languages? (hint: it's the latter one.)

“Usted no puede escaper este vez.” One of them said to you.

“How am I gonna get out of this one?”

Probably in the most bullshit way possible.

Leon and Ashley walked through the small narrow path and so far nothing came to attack them…so far. As had been established by the first "so far" five words before it. Leon was wondering if Karla was okay or not, he wished he had made her go with them instead of her going off by herself but then again Karla would just protest against it. She was Karla after all, a tough soldier of the Us Army and a girl no one should mess with.


I've yet to see this "tough girl" you speak of much less a woman who "should not be messed with". Seriously, it's told a lot but I've yet to see it. Once again she has to rely on Leon a lot and then she heel face turns and suddenly becomes a super bad ass when the story calls for it? No, you can't have it both ways. It's not possible and makes for a weak character. In fact, let's touch on the "but then again Karla would just protest against it" bit;

No. That is no excuse. It would have been safer and smarter to stay together. You would have, realistically (pretending that Karla-Sue is this supposed bad ass we've been told she is), been able to watch each other's backs and be able to keep Ashley in sight at all times and to better protect your charge. But because Karla-Sue isn't this awesome bad ass that the writer thinks she is she proposes the stupidest thing that one could possibly do at this point in time. Now the team is split into two with no contact between one another (Zachary and Hunnigan do not contact each other in this fanfic and thus could not relay information between one another) and Ashley has less protection than before.

His thoughts were interrupted when the ground beneath him and Ashley shook as he looked up and saw another El Gigante blocking their path.

“Dammit. Ashley behind me.” He said sternly to the young blonde as she quickly went behind him as the giant ogre roared while stalking towards the duo.

“Leon! Look up there!” she pointed upwards where a giant boulder laid unsteadily on a wooden support.

“Thanks Ashley.” He thanked her As had been established AS HE SAID "Thanks" TO HER! REPETITION IS NOT YOUR FRIEND! and when the ogre came towards them he shot at the wooden beam which gave way the boulder as it crashed onto the ogre head first instantly killing it.

“Come on lets hurry before something else shows up.”


I think that was more anti-climactic than just skipping over battle scenes entirely.

“So are you gonna chop my head off or will I just blast your heads off?” you asked them as they suddenly ran towards you with their chainsaws above their heads and trying to strike you with them.

You had other ideas in mind stopping one of the chainsaws with your force field

Oh, look at that, suddenly on her own she's capable of fighting. And notice it's only now when Karla-Sue is able to fight without restrictions do we get a detailed fight scene. Every other fight scene has been less detailed than this or just completely skipped over. This is another mark of a bad Suethor writer who wants attention on her self-insert only.

you forced the Bella sister dressed in blue back against the rock as you ducked the chainsaw of the second one dressed in green and kicking her in the stomach with a swift kick with your boot. As opposed to kicking her with your glove. You had just been lightly cut on your arm by the pink dressed sister as you had moved from her chainsaw preventing it from slicing through any vital organs.

Wait... A blue, a second, and a pink...? So there are three Bella Sisters here? No! Only two appear there! The other two were killed off by Ada on her romp through this shit-hole before this!

“Okay you bitches are starting to piss me the hell off!” you grabbed a blue colored object from your belt and threw it to the green and pink sister as a blinding light erupted from the impact, blinding them. This was your chance as you pulled out your other pistol and aimed them at both of their heads before pulling the triggers and letting a hail of bullets erupt from the barrels as each bullet tore into their already torn flesh into their heads. Finally after the round of ten bullets from each of the pistols, two of the three sisters were dead.

Looking to where you had struck the first sister you found that she was no longer there, reloading the guns quickly you heard the chainsaw close in as you spun around and kicked the chainsaw from out of her of hands.


Growling she reached for your neck and began to strangle you causing you to drop both pistols to the ground and grip her wrists trying to pry the disgusting hands off your neck.

“Get…off…of…me” you said in between breathes, you felt yourself giving into the darkness it was so hard to just stay focus and awake since this bitch was cutting off your oxygen.


‘Damn it…will I die here?...Leon…”

What happened to all that bravado of "I can't die! Teehee! :D" from previous chapters? Stop being so dramatic you shit stain we all know you're going to live.

“Ada.” A man’s voice spoke to her through her communicator as she was above the scenery of the young army woman being strangled by a woman villager.

“Yes Wesker?” she responded coolly. “You want me to help her?”

“No, we activate her.”

“You got it.” She then pulled out a small control pad.

“Project K activated.” He spoke calmly as Ada Wong pushed down on the small black button.


I can only imagine she's going to get MORE powers after being "activated". Fucking. Joyous. I am not impressed guys. And by the by WE ALL KNOW IT'S FUCKING WESKER, STOP TRYING TO BE VAGUE ABOUT IT.

“It’s not like her to be late.” Leon mumbled to himself but Ashley had heard.

How would you know that? You've only met twice in your life - once in Raccoon City and now. You have no prior basis to know this fact and to determine that she is always punctual.

“What do you mean?”

“I don’t know.” How do you not-!!


“Go check on her.” Ashley said sternly.

“We’ll give her five more minutes…if she isn’t out then I’ll go in after her.” He responded trying not to sound too worried. ‘Karla you better be okay dammit.’

This is your own fault FOR LETTING HER SPLIT UP YOU DIPSHIT! THIS IS FORCED CONFLICT. YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY THEY SPLIT UP? BECAUSE THAT SCENE INVOLVING ADA AND WESKER WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE OTHERWISE! THAT'S THE ONLY REASON! IT'S SO CONTRIVED AND FORCED IT'S LUDICROUS!

Umbrella’s symbol flashed in your hazel eyes and suddenly everything went blank around you.

Now you're ripping off the MOVIE! FUCK YOU!

Your hands flew to the last Bella sister’s neck as you turned her head into a most unpleasant angle, hearing a crack you smiled as her hands dropped from your neck while her body fell to the ground.

And I get the feeling she's got super-strength now. Fucking great. God DAMNIT this fucking suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks!

Putting a hand to your forehead you closed your eyes and sighed heavily trying to suppress the command to kill anything or anyone else.

The next thing you know you fall to the ground beside the dead sister breathing heavily and then in the distant you hear footsteps coming closer and closer. You hoped it wasn’t another Ganado. Just then arms picked you up and you soon found yourself pressed against something warm but hard at the same time, looking up you see blue eyes looking down at you with a warm smile to compliment them.


OF FUCKING COURSE LEON WOULD COME TO CARRY HER BRIDAL-STYLE! OF - COURSE! BECAUSE YOU KNOW? THAT HAD TO BE IN THERE SOMEWHERE! HAVE TO GET INTO HIS ARMS SOMEHOW! WHAT BETTER WAY THAN TO FORCE THE DAMSEL CARD AGAIN, EH?! FUCK ME! THIS BLOWS! HARD! IT CAN SUCK THE ANUS OF A ROTTEN SKUNK!

“You cool?” Leon’s voice asked.

“I’m cool.” You replied nodding your head as you put a hand to your neck lightly rubbing the tenderness of the bruising.

“Here are you’re guns.” Ashley said handing you you’re pistols as you nodded and retrieved them from her and holstering them.

So, wait, is she being carried still or did Leon let her down to holster her firearms? I'M SO FUCKING CONFUSED JUST BY THE NARRATION ITSELF AND BY STUPID, POINTLESS, BULLSHIT IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY!

Leon looked down at the dead Bella sisters as he gave a sigh of relief, “You took care of them. Was it that hard on the tough army chick?” he asked teasingly while you stepped away from him and lightly punching him on the arm.

Can we please stop the stupid "tough army chick" stereotype? Just because you're in the military it does NOT mean you can kick any amount of ass at all. Yes, they're training can be rigorous for some and easy on others but ultimately being in any branch of the military does not make you automatically "tough" or "bad ass".

“Screw you.” You said smiling.

“Come on let’s keep moving.” He said as you and Ashley followed him out the gate.

“Looks like she could resist the chip.” Ada said into her communicator while watching Leon pick up the young army woman off the ground.

“This means we need to perfect her more.” Wesker’s cold voice spoke.

NO! Bad Wesker! No more "perfect" for the Sue! NO! Don't make me smack you with a newspaper!

“It’s remarkable how she was able to resist the urge to kill anymore.”

You're surprised, Ada? This is Karla-Sue we're talking about of course she'd be able to resist it because she's that *~speshul~* and we're not ever allowed to forget it and just shoot me now.

“We need her to kill if she is to be the best Bio weapon Umbrella ever created, continue your mission but keep an eye on her closely.”

By all rights, if she was this powerful and not under their watch or on their side it stands to reason that Umbrella would have just killed her off in the first place before she went against them at all. I know it wasn't out by the time this was written but Operation Raccoon City has pretty much confirmed that Umbrella is not above letting lose ends just die off if it suits their purposes. They were more than willing to allow WOLFPACK, their own team of security, to die in Raccoon City. Logically, you shouldn't even need this game to figure that out. Umbrella covered its tracks well until the outbreak in Raccoon, after all.

“As you wish.”

Exiting the gate you waved at the Merchant as he waved back and climbing down the steps you followed Leon to the left as he walked up the trail and you all came to a lift.

“I hate these headaches.” You mumble while rubbing your temples.

“You used them again after I said to hold off on them?” he asked in a serious but angry tone, while Ashley stood there confused.

“What would you do if you had three chainsaws coming at you at the same time?!” you shouted in annoyance. Who did he think he was? You’re superior or something? You didn’t take commands from the government only if they were important as from the President himself or from your father.


NO! THAT IS NOT HOW THE ARMY WORKS! IF YOU REFUSE TO TAKE COMMANDS FROM OTHER HIGH-RANKING ARMY OFFICIALS YOU COULD BE TRIED FOR INSUBORDINATION YOU STUPID SKANK! YOU DO NOT GET GRANTED SPECIAL FAVORS! THIS IS WHY THEY DON'T ALLOW FAMILY TO WORK UNDER OR WITH ONE ANOTHER! LIKEWISE LEON IS YOUR SUPERIOR! HE'S HAD POLICE ACADEMY TRAINING, SURVIVED RACCOON CITY, PRESUMABLY HAD MORE MILITARY TRAINING, AND THEN SENT TO SOUTH AMERICA FOR A MISSION DETAILING UMBRELLA VIRUSES THERE! HE'S HAD MORE EXPERIENCE THAN YOU! SO FUCK YOU AND YOUR STUPID ATTITUDE PROBLEM AND YOUR STUPID "I'M SO HIGH AND MIGHTY AND I SHOULD BE TREATED AS SUCH" MINDSET! JUST SCREW ALL OF YOU!

“You have weapons Karla you didn’t have to use your powers.”

“For your information Kennedy if it wasn’t for my force fields I wouldn’t be here right now I still can't get over the fact that of ALL the things she could have she has fucking FORCE FIELDS. because I was this close,” you said while holding your hand in front of him bringing your fore finger and stopping inches away from your thumb. “To having my head chopped off.”

He sighed in annoyance while taking out his handgun and getting ready to climb onto the lift, “I don’t have time for this get on the lift so we can move on.” He said in a cold tone.

You didn’t respond to him you nudged Ashley as the three of you stepped on while you took out your shotgun. Leon and you didn’t talk the rest of the way down the lift, only taking your anger out on the stupid villagers trying to jump up onto the lift as Leon shot down the villagers trying to throw things at you three.

The lift reached the other end as you all stepped off and Leon led the way once more as Ashley was in the middle and you at the end. You didn’t know why Leon was acting this way; he acted as though you were his girlfriend or something. A small blush crept up on your face at the thought…


Words cannot express....

but suddenly that blush faded as you realized something. You were infected with the Las Plagas just like Leon and Ashley in fact you were infected the same time around Leon since you both were unconscious.

The weird thing was Leon had coughed up blood and you saw red on Ashley’s hand during the time before you guys had entered the death traps. Now here’s the real important question: why weren’t you coughing up blood like them?

THEY DON'T START COUGHING UP BLOOD UNTIL LATE IN THE CASTLE! AND THAT'S ASHLEY BECAUSE SHE HAD BEEN INFECTED FOR LONGER SO HER STAGES ARE MORE DEVELOPED THAN LEON'S!
