Yu-Gi-Oh! Battle City Roleplay {|One on One|}

A wrap of another realm meshed itself over the shadow realm and it showed as half shadow realm and other half in the other realm. Tara gasped in awe as this happened, so did Yami Yugi and Joey for they knew what was going on. Yami Yugi and Tara knew more than Joey though seeing as Yami Meranda had obviously made her realm join the duel. Sure there was no telling what was going on in there but Tara had a way of finding out, she quickly got to work on a spell for looking in on someone; a scrying spell, using a bowl of water.

An image like a television screen formed in the water's surface as Yami Yugi soon saw what it was that Tara had done. He looked up at Alice and gestured to her to come over. The duel seemed to be in Yami Marik's favor at the moment.

"Bakura, let Alice go so she can watch this. Tara has found a way to see what is happening," Yami Yugi exclaimed, eyeing Bakura.

Bakura was watching, surprised to see Mesta's realm over the shadow realm as he smirked. Now she is in her element, she can't possibly lose. Alice looked over at Yami Yugi, seeing him gesture and shocked to hear that they could see what was going on in the duel. Bakura had heard Yami Yugi, glaring as he sighed. Instead of letting her go, he just walked with her over to the others so they could see the water, still holding onto her. He glared, seeing as Yami Marik was so far winning. Alice had walked over as she then looked into the water, happy to see that the duel was in Yami Marik's favor.

(Today's my 21st birthday! ^.^)

It soon turned strange for in the water's images came Yami Meranda's turn and the card that she drew was her dragon's ritual card. Tara watched as a thousand of Yami Meranda's own life points went down along with two monsters on her side. Tara gasped for she knew what was going to happen and Alice wouldn't like what she'd see. Yami Yugi soon caught onto what Tara was worried about and turned to Alice.

"Alice, look away. Don't ask why, just look away," Yami Yugi said simply, still watching what was going on.

Alice was watching the duel, surprised to see Mesta drew a ritual card, a thousand of her life points gone and her two monsters sacrificed. What kind of monster was she summoning? But then Alice was confused, hearing Yami Yugi say to look away. But why should she look away? Bakura saw what Mesta was doing, smirking as he knew too. "Don't look away. Watch and see." he said back to her as he smiled, waiting. Alice had heard him, wanting to see what would happen, watching.

A dark green dragon with yellow horns jutting from it's head to it's back and down the tail emerged, it's red devil like slanted eyes baring right at them. It's blood red wings stretching to the sky as they beated gently in the air around it, it bared it's sharp white teeth as a poison gas oozed out from it's nostrils. Yami Meranda laughed as it formed on the field, her realm doubled it's attack and defense. The attack was 2900 with defense at 2000, but with it's own realm on the field it's power doubled; attack going up to 4900 with defense at 4000.

"What the Ra is that?" Yami Marik asks, staring up at the dragon.

"My precious pet Chaos Abyss and she is longing to take you down Yami Marik!" Yami Meranda replies, smirking wide at him.

"Oh no~" Tara paused, watching as she glanced at Yami Yugi.

"What is it Tara?" Yami Yugi asks, seeing her looking worried.

Tara gulped. "That is Yami Meranda's best monster, but there's a drawback, if it is defeated. Then she is defeated, Mesta will be no more if Marik can defeat that dragon. They are both linked in a way that you will never believe possible," she exclaimed, eyeing the scene.

Alice was stunned, seeing the dark green dragon appear and how strong it was. Then she had heard Tara, shocked. So if Yami Marik can beat Chaos Abyss, then Mesta will be completely gone. Bakura smirked, seeing the dragon and then hearing Tara. "Yes, that is true. But there is no way he can defeat her Chaos Abyss. He'll lose and then you all will suffer the same fate." Bakura said back to them, smiling. Alice was hearing Bakura, shaking her head as she looked at Yami Marik. Please, let him win!

"Yami marik has his god card, that shall help him enough to beat her," Tara exclaimed, eyeing the scene.

In the duel Yami Meranda and Marik both had the same amount of life points each; both were 1000, both were on edge. Yami Meranda had two Chaotic Metal Crimson Wolves along with her dragon out on her side of the field, whilst Yami Marik had Gil Garth and a Yamimakai but he was close to drawing The Winged Dragon of Ra.

"Oh? I know what you're thinking Marik. You're soon to draw up your god card and attach yourself to him before bringing me to a standstill. Am I correct? Well, this next move will blow you away~" Yami Meranda paused, seeing that she drew the one trap card that would total it off, she laughed.

"Hey! What's so amusing?" Yami Marik asks, glaring.

Alice had heard Tara, hoping that his god card would help Marik win. She was watching the duel, surprised and confused from hearing Mesta laugh. Uh oh, that does not seem good at all. Bakura was watching as well, hearing Mesta laugh as he chuckled. "He's done for." he said back, smirking as he could tell that she drew a card that would defeat Yami Marik.

(sorry for this short reply. I have to go off soon :( )

Tara sighed and watched with horror. "This is it, I don't know if he can manage to win, Alice," she says, seeing the card Yami Meranda was about to activate.

Yami Yugi gasped in horror. "I've never even seen that card before. Can it be that Mesta can construct her own cards?" he asks, unable to believe what he was seeing.

Bakura was hearing Tara and Yami Yugi, laughing. "Of course she can! She constructed her own cards as well as some that she gave to me too. You're all doomed." he said back to them as he smirked. Alice had heard Tara and then Bakura, shocked. No, Marik can't lose, not now! "Marik, NO!!!" she screamed, trying to reach him. She cried a lot, now very afraid of losing Marik and scared.

"I activate Tomb of Lost Gods! This allows me to remove five monsters from either player's graveyard. So it cannot be played again but also in exchange it gives me 500 life points in return, finally I shall then be able to remove any rare card from your deck or hand~" Yami Meranda pauses, smirking wide.

Yami Marik watched as all that she explained happened before his eyes. He stared in horror for the final part to the card in question. For the next minute after she paused, his Winged Dragon of Ra was removed from his deck to the graveyard. He saw his victory slipping out of his grasp and in that instant knew that he had to forfeit. It was not in his wishes to do it but if there was no way to get his dragon back, then it's over.

Yami Yugi gasped quietly. "It looks like Marik is going to forfeit~" he pauses, seeing the slight smirk creeping up on Marik's mouth.

Alice was shocked, seeing Mesta activate the card and hearing what she said about being able to remove any rare card from his deck or hand. No, his Winged Dragon of Ra! She could see as his card was removed, knowing that there was no way he could win now as she heard Yami Yugi. "Marik!!" Alice cried out, not seeing the smirk as she didn't want to lose him. Bakura smirked as he watched Mesta activate her card and remove Marik's Winged Dragon of Ra. He has no hope, she won hands down.

Yami Yugi watched in surprise as Yami Marik literally stared out over the duel field. Not knowing what had hit him, this was unheard of. Yami Meranda laughed at his defeated look before chanting something softly and making her realm shoot it's energy at him, causing him to double over. It was draining his life source, Tara gasped once seeing this and she had to look away. It soon died down and Yami Marik was forced to give control to Marik, thankfully the void cleared away. Marik however, had fallen to the ground on his knees trying to catch his breath.

"Pathetic, just like all mortals~" Yami Meranda paused, smirking at Bakura.

Alice was shocked, watching as Marik was being hit by the energy and his life source being drained. She cried as she could see him fall, on the ground on his knees now. Bakura smirked, seeing as Yami Marik lost and had his life source drained. Then he heard Mesta, nodding back in agreement and smiling. "Yeah, they truly are all pathetic." Bakura said back to her, then looking at Alice. "Now that he's out of the way, it's time for you to suffer the same fate." he said, knowing that Mesta wanted revenge on the girl as he started dragging her over. Alice had heard Bakura, feeling as she was being dragged, shaking her head. "No, no!" she yelled as she was struggling in his grip and scared.

(Notice reminder: Yami Marik is all right, he's just a little tired from what happened )

Tara eyed Marik for a moment not so certain of the facts that perhaps Yami Marik was gone. If he had been gone for good, the shadows would have taken him. That was not the case though and the millennium rod was seeming to be glowing dimly, showing that Yami Marik was threatening to come back. Yami Meranda chuckled as she noticed this little thing going on with the millennium rod, and then she turned to Alice. Marik stayed quiet on his knees with his head lowered and not making eye contact with anyone.

"Marik~ You all right?" Yami Yugi asks, going over to him but keeping a distance apart from him.

Marik didn't reply to him instead he just stood up whilst trembling, approaching Alice and standing in front of her. Slowly he raised his head to bare right into Yami Meranda's eyes, if she was to harm anyone, he would let her harm him. Seeing the courageous act coming from Marik made her laugh hard before striking him down with one heel to his stomach, he winced and clutched his knee in agony as the third blow brought him to his knees. Yami Yug rushed forward and got Marik and Alice out of harms way, glaring at Yami Meranda. He soon turned complete attention upon Bakura, the one who seemed to have a thought of vengeance upon him.

"You two should leave before things get even worse, for you instead of us~" Yami Yugi paused, locking eye contact with Bakura and Yami Meranda.

(Oh, sorry. My bad.)

Alice was shivering, seeing as Mesta was looking at her, scared. What is she going to do to her?! But then Alice was very surprised, seeing Marik come over and stand in front of her, defending her. "Marik.." Alice said, glad to see that he was alright. She was shocked, seeing as Mesta had struck him in the stomach and the knees. "Marik!" Alice said, relieved as she felt Yami Yugi get her and Marik out of the way. Bakura had been watching, surprised and annoyed that Marik was still even here and standing. He laughed as Bakura had watched Mesta knock Marik down to the ground, annoyed as Yami Yugi took him and Alice away. Then he was hearing Yami Yugi, smirking as he shook his head. "You're the ones who things will get much worse for. I don't know how he can still be standing, but he won't be able to survive after a second duel." Bakura said back to them, ready to duel Marik and get rid of him once and for all.

(I just couldn't leave it like that for Marik. I have a hard time killing off characters in roleplays. Even if it's a cannon character from an anime or etc and not one of my own. )

Marik saw Yami Yugi ready to duel and shook his head. "Sorry Yugi, but I am not wanting to duel right now~" he paused, glancing over at Alice. "You okay Alice?" he had then asked, eyeing her.

(Yeah, it would be hard and very sad to kill off a character, canon or OC. Plus then it would be a lot less fun.)

Alice was hearing Marik, nodding back as she then hugged him tightly. "I'm fine. You worried me so much. Don't ever do that again!" she said back to him, smiling as she cried tears of joy. Bakura was mad and annoyed as Marik said that he didn't want to duel and ignored him. "You dare ignore us, you brat?! Fine, if neither of you will duel, then I'll take on that little girlfriend of yours." Bakura said back to them, knowing that he could beat her easily with his new deck. Alice had heard as Bakura wanted to duel her, shivering at the thought of dueling him and if she lost.

Yami Yugi stepped forth. "No Alice, don't accept it. Bakura, she is not going to battle you so be gone!" He said, glaring at Bakura.

Yami Meranda laughed. "She has no choice on the matter Pharaoh! A duel is a duel and a challenge has to be accepted once the eye contact is met," she pointed out, smirking.

Alice was hearing Yami Yugi, agreeing and not wanting to accept the battle anyways. But then she was shocked, hearing Mesta and knowing that she is right. "F-Fine, I'll duel." Alice said back as she let go of Marik and got her deck ready. Bakura laughed as he got his deck ready too, knowing that she could never beat him. "You know what happens when you lose to me. You will be sent to the Shadow Realm, away from your precious friends and Marik forever." Bakura said back, smirking.

Yami Meranda watched the duel start with amusement, she knew Bakura will win seeing as his deck was that little bit more better now thanks to her. Marik watched but he was worried for Alice and seeing the smirk Bakura was giving Alice made him nervous. Yami Yugi stepped out between them both, he couldn't let this happen, he knew of what Yami Meranda did to Bakura's deck. He had seen the first few cards once Bakura drew the first five, this was going to be an unfair duel for Alice.

"No Alice. I forbid you to duel Bakura, I mean it. Listen to me when I say, this is dangerous. Mesta made a new deck for herself and Bakura. There is no telling what he has in store for you. It is best if you don't do this~" Yami Yugi paused, someone pulled him back.

Turning around, Yami Yugi saw it had been Yami Meranda who had pulled him away from Alice. Away from all hope of stopping this duel from happening, she stopped him. She chuckled before turning her gaze upon Bakura knowing that he will win but she hadn't noticed that Marik was going over to Alice. He was not going to let her go in this alone not without a tag partner. This will be a tag duel whether Bakura likes it or not, he will have to choose his own tag team member.

"Oh~? Is that how you want it then, hmm?" Yami Meranda asks, amused by this outcome.

"Very well then~" Yami Meranda had then said, stepping up beside Bakura, grinning at Marik and Alice.

Alice had drawn the first five cards for her hand, seeing as there was nothing really good. She's not going to be able to win, there's no way. But then she saw Yugi, hearing him and agreeing as she didn't want to duel either, only to see him be pulled away by Mesta. Now she felt scared, knowing that she would lose. But Alice was very surprised as Marik came up to her, making this a tag duel instead. "Will you be alright doing this?" she asked him, knowing how he had been drained from the duel he had with Mesta, not wanting him to get hurt again especially with Mesta helping Bakura. Bakura had seen his first five cards, smirking happily as he knew he would win. He ignored Yami Yugi, watching as Mesta pulled him away. But then he was annoyed when he saw Marik come up and wanting this to be a tag duel. Bakura was glad as Mesta came up beside him, ready to duel. "You two really think that you could beat us? You, Marik couldn't even defeat Mesta by yourself as your Yami, like the both of you together would stand a chance against us. We'll send you both to the Shadow Realm for good." Bakura said back, smirking and ready to duel.

Marik thought back over his options seeing that he choice other than to stand down. Putting his hand over his deck he dismissed himself from the podium beside Alice. Seeing Marik going out the duel Yami Meranda decisively took her stand back in the sidelines like before. Yami Yugi watched as Marik and Yami Meranda left the duel for a normal one, Marik couldn't help but feel guilty for not continuing.

"You can do this Alice, just think back to dueling practice with me. You can manage~" Marik trailed off, Yami Meranda put both her hands to his mouth cutting off all encouragement from him.

"Thrash her down Bakura!" Yami Meranda cheered, smirking at Bakura.

Yami Yugi glared at Yami Meranda. "Quiet Mesta, Alice shall win against Bakura," he exclaimed, glancing up at Alice.

"Oh really?" Yami Meranda asks, chuckling.

"Yes, I have every faith in her," Yami Yugi replied, still glaring.

"She will need more than just your faith in her, Pharoah, once Bakura is done with the girl~" Yami Meranda paused, every card she had made for Bakura's deck was picturing in her thoughts.

Alice saw as Marik had dismissed himself from the duel, feeling bad but knowing that she didn't want him to get hurt because of her. Now it was just her and Bakura dueling, feeling very scared. She was hearing Marik, smiling as she remembered the dueling practice. But then Alice had been very surprised, hearing as Yami Yugi had faith in her, now knowing that she can't lose. Bakura saw as Marik stepped down, smirking. He had heard Mesta, smiling and nodding back to her. "Yes, when I'm through with her, she'll be begging for mercy." Bakura said back, smirking as he went first. He was smiling, seeing as he had Shadow Skull Dragon, Rose Thorned Shield, and Poison Ivy in his hand. "I place my Shadow Skull Dragon in attack mode and set down two cards. End my turn." Bakura said back to Alice as it was her turn. She was shocked by the dragon, knowing that he never uses dragons. It must be one of the new cards Mesta made for him. "I summon my Cyber Harpie Lady. Then I activate Shadow Spell and use it on your dragon." Alice said back to him. But Bakura smirked as he heard that. "That won't work. I activate my Rose Thorned Shield, which deflects your card and it goes back to you, so now your Harpie Lady is doomed." Bakura said back as Shadow Spell affected Alice's monster instead of his dragon. "Next I activate my next card, Poison Ivy. It makes you lose 1000 points, which I gain in return." Bakura said back, smirking. Alice was shocked as the second card activated, feeling the pain as she lost 1000 points and he gained them. Great, she is already behind and it's been barely a turn. "I-I end my turn." Alice said back, now very scared.

Tara eyed what had been going on, noticing Alice was scared. "Alice, you can win this. Just think of what traps you have put in that deck. Surely there's one for destroying the foes monsters, those things are the best to come by! My sister can even tell you that," she exclaimed, wanting to try to help Alice.

"Pip down Tara~" Yami Meranda paused, sneering at her.

"No. I won't Mesta," Tara retorted back, not caring for the consequences of what she was saying to Yami Meranda.

"Seriously girl. Do yourself a favor, don't have the guts to speak back at me like that. It will only cause you a death wish, you should be lucky that I am busy watching what is to happen. Even though I already know what that outcome will be for Alice," Yami Meranda had then said, smirking.
