Yadira stood alone, sand dunes stretching for miles, as far as her eyes could see. The heat beat down on the desert, warm winds passing her by. Her blue cloak kept her safe from this environment. Living in these deserts, learning of them and their dangers, Yadira was more than prepared for her time here.

:I want to find our past:

She wandered. Yadira had no inkling of how long she had been wandering. She simply did it to find answers. She wanted to learn, she wanted to understand.

:I want to see a better future:

Yadira did this out of gain for herself but also gain for others. While she had yet to stumble upon other wanders, she hoped she would find them. She wanted to help her people, wanted them to have a better future just as she longed for.

Would that be so simply?

Yadira learned of many dangers along the way. There were some, none so kind. The elements could leave her ragged. The traveling alone would exhaust her if she did not take her time, learn her limitations each day. There was so much that could halt her journey, so many little things that crossed her mind.

She halted, gazing at the landscape from the top of a sand dune. It was barren, something she'd long since gotten used to seeing. Still, she lingered her for quite some time, pondering, waiting to see what would come of this world next.

What indeed.

Keeping the same dawdling pace footsteps touched upon the sandy ground. Tending to the sight around her Xiaolian couldn't see anyone despite the rolling dunes and lengthy climbs she would still have to make. Glowering downwards courage seemed to slip away slightly. She didn't know where she was now - she was lost.

;; Are there others out here in this deserted wasteland of challenges? ;;

Beholding the sky it was nothing but the sandy color that blanketed over the world. Xiaolian felt a prickling feeling that she had to become used to this color. Not gazing up at the sky as much as she would like Xiaolian wandered aimlessly. With not a single inkling of where she ended up now she simply jumped and pressed on.

Knowing less than she would like about this particular area Xiaolian had grown curious and wanted to press on. Her clothing whipped slightly with the wind her scarf gently waving in the air as she pushed on through the world.

She just felt alone.

A slight pang seemed to spread through her legs that caused her knees to collapse to the sandy ground. Not knowing her limits Xiaolian was known to push herself too far - beyond the boundaries and gates of her limits. Her legs had been begging her for rest yet she did not feel the request to rest. Becoming distracted by the world around her she simply wanted to know what lied beyond. Little had she known about the dangers that she had come across; some situations having to fight them, and others having to flee simply because she was too startled.

Gazing to the sandy ground she felt her eyesight shift into a state of blur until she felt her head rattle down. Xiaolian was becoming panicked unsure of what to do at a time like this. If only she had paid more attention to her herself - what her spirit needed and demanded.
