Okami Talk Thread

Talk about anything and everything Okami here!

I guess I'll start.

I fish more than anyone should in-game, though you can rack up some big catches to sell to the merchants~. I also tend to draw circles around random people; as it causes them to come over and pet Ammy.

As for the moment, I'm just getting what progress I lost back. Almost there~. That was somewhat annoying though and I'm still half mad at myself for making the mistake I did!

Yup, according to the Wiki: Under normal circumstances, this brushstroke will create a surge of affection towards Amaterasu, causing them to pet her. During digging minigames, her digging partner will be reinvigorated, causing them to run instead of walking. With members of the Oina tribe, they will change between their human and wolf forms instead of altering their behavior.

That sudden realization that after the Dragon Palace/Inside the Water Dragon, I'll be heading to Oni Island to defeat Ninetails. And then comes Kamui, pretty much it's "the game's almost over!" when I reach Northern Country. :c

So, four days and ten hours after downloading and installing the game I can now proudly say that I have gotten Plat(inum) on this title! ~~God, I forgot how much I like Oina Warrior Oki.~~

I'm about half way through now though, I'll probably be back tracking to do some other things before I move on. Cause, you know, that's what you do when the world is in peril! You do the stuff you should have done early in the game!

I've gotta do the same, which kinda sucks that I have to wait. But I'll get there eventually~.

It's nice that they put so many side quests throughout the game~. Would be too short without them~.

I don't think anyone can beat my "let's not save the world in favor of" moments. Lika is missing and I instead chose to go fishing for that monkfish to complete the Fish Tome. Priorities, we have them. Spif

I'm still mad at myself for getting eaten by the Water Dragon the first time around. I could have got a trophy for that but NOPE! Had to derp things up and get eaten! Least I can say I can do it all again if and when I need to~.

Happy days!

Helped dig up a Mermaid Spring in Dragon Palace, and now the water god is back. So I can draw a swirly line over Mermaid Springs to travel without using a coin~. :3

As for the first meeting of the water dragon; I never made it - I drowned before I got to shore. XD

I've finally got most of the Stray Beads, Brush Upgrades and items. Dear God, there was a lot I missed when I played back in 2008. Then again, I wasn't really looking either. XD
