{|KH|} Clarity {|Group RP|}

Aria sucked in a deep breath, a salty tang hitting her tongue. Her head throbbed as she shifted, laying on her back. She couldn't figure out what happened. She was with her friends, playing around with an old game when suddenly things went black.

Forcing her eyes open, she slowly pushed herself up. Aria rubbed her eyes and tried to force away the throbbing in her head. The sound of waves crashing against the shore grabbed her attention next. Her heart leapt in her throat as she glanced around.

She woke on a beach, the sun beating down on her. This was no where near her home. She never lived near the ocean much less saw it. How did she end up here?

The thoughts were quashed when she caught sight of another body. Her heart pounded painfully against her chest and she pushed herself up. She was a little shaky and stumbled a bit as she made her way to the other body. As she approached she realized it was Wendy.

Falling to her knees she placed a hand on Wendy's shoulder and tried to shake her away. The younger girl seemed to have trouble rousing herself.

"Wendy," she called out only sparing a glance around once or twice. She wasn't sure where they were but it was somehow oddly familiar. "Wendy, are you alright? Come on, you gotta get up!"

Aria swallowed hard, a lump forming in her throat. Lacey was no where nearby. Was she alright as well or did she wake beforehand? Aria worried about her safety as well as Wendy's.

Luxord had no inkling of how he survived but he didn't complain about it. After encountering Sora, their duel should have ended in his death. Somehow, he survived and was left to wander as he pleased.

The sense of freedom was a rather nice change of pace for him. Tied to the Organization for so long, the lack of orders helped. Things had more or less peaceful once again. He wondered how long that would last.

Wandering some unknown world, Luxord spared a glance around. He came and went through most of them and was mostly unnoticed. That wasn't something he minded, aware that it was better that way. Keeping under the radar was in his best interest.

In his wanderings he took noticed to a curiosity. Something appeared to fall from the sky resembling that of a star. A short hum had left him before he followed after. To most, that might have been a star but to him, it could be something more.

It took a long bit of searching before he stumbled upon the place it crashed. A girl laid on the ground, unconscious. He narrowed his eyes, watching the steady rise and fall of her chest.

"Someone from another world?" he muttered quietly to himself. "I would have thought this had ended."

Regardless of that, he knelt down and placed a hand on her shoulder. He shook her a little rougher than he probably should have. Getting her up on her feet was the most important thing for the moment.

"Come on," he pressed, watching as her features twisted as she roused herself. A long moment passed when she did wake, confusion and maybe that of panic mixed on her face. "What's your name?"

Wendy breathed heavily as she was edging near a deeper form of sleep, the sand that provided as supposed comfort for the landing not proving its justice. A small groan escaped her lips as the contact of a hand on her shoulder was enough to alert her nearly awake, though there was slight trouble in the making of awakening completely. Even if Wendy's eyes parted a pattern continued of them fluttering open and closing before fully rousing to meet with Aria.

"Aria...? Gh..." Slightly wincing in pain from a headache that decided to settle in, she thrust a hand to the side of her head, fingers digging into brown locks, in an attempt to seize the pain. The hat that was adorned on her head before impact was crumpled in the sand, and turning onto her side, Wendy gripped onto it before flipping it over to let the pool of sand flow out from the inside. Turning to the elder friend after returning the hat to its rightful place atop her head, Wendy smiled in reassurance to Aria.

"I'm alright."

She then noticed something strange and that set off a toll of alarms in the brain. "Where's Lacey? W-Where...?" she stuttered in confusion before the clashing of the ocean waves against the sand broke the girl's train of thought. This place seemed so familiar - almost as if they had been here before. Rising to her feet and offering a hand to Aria, she helped said friend up before switching to observe their surroundings.

Weren't they playing a game involving a place like this? Weren't they in a home and not on a sandy beach?

Then a soft, male voice was heard.

"Haven't seen you two around here before."

Riku had noticed two bright, shimmering stars dancing across the summer sky when walking along the beach near his home. His muscles tensed as he followed the stars lines and a bright light burst as contact was made with Destiny Islands. The boy was just about to head there for the day, waiting for Sora and Kairi who would be slow as always. However, the tides had changed. Now this was a day to be alert - the beginning of something anew.

Having informed Sora and Kairi of the incident, an understanding was reached. Although he agreed that what he described sounded a little too bizarre, the trio had their fair share of strange happenings. After everything that has happened, with Xemnas and the Organization, there was to be a small break for them back home.

Until the stars in the sky happened.

After Riku spoke with Kairi and reassured her that he and Sora would be fine, they had left. Now, Riku found himself here on the island with many questions swirling in his head - questions left without answers. Once arriving their feet pounded against the wooden steps of the staircase leading to the boats. He was surprised to find what was standing right near the dancing waves of the ocean's entrance. Quickly glancing over to Sora he nodded his head before focusing on the girls, keeping his calm as he walked over to them.

"Haven't seen you two around here before."

Shoving his hands in his pockets, Riku relaxed as he observed that these two seemed more confused and lost than an actual threat. The expressions on their faces explained enough already. The girl in yellow seemed to grab the helm of her hat and eye him cautiously. That was a natural reaction he was used to, and shifting his weight from his right leg to his left, he turned to Sora wondering what the younger boy had to say about their discovery.

Sora hadn't been expecting much that day, just the usual to go and hang out with Riku and Kairi now that everything had settled and been solved. It was a nice change of pace though he did miss Donald and Goofy a lot. There wasn't much he could do about it now, though, except to cherish the memories he had of spending time with them.

His eyes had strayed to the sky, watching the clouds in the sky. There were all in nonsensical shapes but he was sure that if he tried he could make something out of them. That thought was gone almost as soon as it had come when he caught something darting through the sky. It was the unmistakable sight of shooting stars, at least at first. The longer Sora watched his fascination changed to curiosity and worry as they two drew closer, rocketing to Destiny Island and bursting in bright light.

For a moment Sora could only stare, his eyes wide and his heart hammering in his chest, before he darted forward. His feet slapped the ground hard, doing his best to get to their little island and find out what was wrong this time. 'Please don't let anything bad start happening again!' It was the only thought that ran through his mind in the time it took to reach the little boats he, Riku and Kairi used.

It seemed to take far longer to actually get across the little stretch of water, the waves seemingly against him. Still, he didn't stop, straining his arms to row faster even when they burned in protest. One of the boats had already been gone, who was there already? He hoped that it wasn't Kairi, at least Riku was capable of fighting if there was something over there...

Sora spared only the minimum amount of time needed to make sure his boat wouldn't float away before he darted towards the landing sight. He only slowed when he saw Riku up ahead, the guy looking relaxed despite what might have been there.

"Riku! What is it?" Sora called out, gasping for air as he slowed to a stop by him. There was a moment in which he doubled over, hands on his knees. It wasn't until he heard another voice, a girl's, did Sora blink up.

Two girls were there, one blonde and the other brunette and both looking dazed. He felt his own confusion rising at this, what had happened?

The first thing Lacey was really aware of was the fact that she was uncomfortable and sore though she had little reason to start moving. For all she knew she was just passed out on the bedroom floor at Wendy's, having stayed up too late playing video games with the others. With that thought she'd done little to actively rouse herself, instead sinking back into that blackness.

The next time she was aware of anything in particular it was a hand on her shoulder and being roughly shaken. It wasn't until a man's voice reached her ears did she jerk away a bit, blinking up at the guy in question. She didn't hear the question he aimed at her, instead baffled by the face she was met with. The blond hair and beard, blue eyes and strong facial structure, the face was all too familiar to Lacey.

Lacey spared a brief moment glancing from the corners of eyes around her. The only person around seemed to be the Luxord-look-alike crouched beside her. ’Where are Wendy and Aria?’ The thought was fleeting with no answer to follow. Lacey wasn’t even sure what had happened to get her here.

“Who are you?” she asked suddenly, seemingly unaware she’d been asked the very same thing a moment ago, “where am I?”

At some point she had shifted, her joints protesting the movement though she was ready to dart away or try to defend herself. Whatever had happened to leave her stranded out in this unfamiliar place Lacey couldn’t say but if this Luxord-look-alike tried anything she could at least try to be ready for it. She wasn’t sure what she could manage with nothing to act as a makeshift weapon if he was hostile, all she had on her were the clothes on her back.

All she could do then was wait for an answer, hopefully ones that weren’t too shocking. Then again none of this place was ringing any bells in Lacey’s mind, it couldn’t be anywhere near the city she’d called home for the past few years.

A sense of relief washed over Aria as Wendy woke. Wendy was slow and sluggish, much like herself when she woke, and it took her a moment to realize this was not home. Aria rubbed Wendy's back, hoping that would bring her back to her senses a little easier.

"Good, I'm glad." Aria responded to her words.

Aria took the offered hand and got to her feet, a frown tugging at her lips. She spared a glance around. A nagging feeling wouldn't leave her be. This place was foreign and yet felt all too familiar at the same time. That bothered her far too much.

A shake of her head followed when Wendy started to speak again. She was confused and Aria had no words of reassurance to offer. She didn't know where they were or what had happened.

"I don't know," she muttered, tugging her own hat off and running her hand through her bangs. Her braid felt loose but that minor annoyance wasn't something she paid mind to. "But this place seem familiar somehow..."

Before she could ask Wendy about it a voice rang out. Aria tensed when another joined it soon after. Her gaze wandered to the pair of familiar faces. She glanced at Wendy, the younger woman hiding her expression behind the brim of her hat. Aria couldn't blame her at this point.

"Where are we?" she chose to ask instead.

It seemed their best bet for the time being. If any of this had to do with jump worlds, and Aria was starting to believe it did, they were familiar with the concept. Maybe that was why there was a little less alarm with what they were facing. She could only assume at this point but it settled her no less.

Eventually, the young woman started to rouse a little at a time. All at once, the shock seemed to hit her and she jerked up. Her gaze drifted about wildly as if searching something out. It landed on him after a long moment, a trouble expression settled on her face.

He allowed her to take in as much as she could. Rushing her in this state could only backfire on him. He wouldn't allow that to happen. The coming of this woman meant something new was arising. Whatever it was, Luxord could only assume at this point.

When she spoke, she didn't direct an answer to him. Instead, she asked her own questions. Luxord couldn't begrudge her an explanation. She looked so confused and no doubt she was.

"My name is Luxord," he answered, sparing a brief nod. "I believe you're in Wonderland, if I'm correct."

At least, that is where he believed he was. He didn't quite keep track anymore though this world was odd. It had it's ups and downs. Luxord had to admit it was one of the strangest ones he'd been in.

"Can you stand?" he inquired as he pushed himself to his feet. He offered a hand, hoping to pull her up if she needed it. "I suppose it wouldn't be too rude to ask for your name again?"

Luxord couldn't blame her for her alarm or not hearing him the first time around. Most were like this, unable to get their bearings, when they woke in a world unlike their own. Wherever this one was from, he could only guess. She was here now and that's what mattered most.
