| So making a long story short, my last Nuzlocke did not end well. I was wiped out on my way to the Mirror Cave and lost all of my Pokemon. It was my mistake, honestly. I didn't grind to a high enough level to really be prepared for some of the opponents on the trail. So, here I am, trying again! I'm going with the same rules and will be following them to the best of my ability. The only thing I'm really changing is I'm allowing the use of the Pokemon Amie. - Rules:
--Any Pokémon that faints is considered dead, and must be released.
--The player may only catch the first Pokémon encountered in each area, and none else. If the first Pokémon encountered faints or flees, there are no second chances. If the first encounter in the area is a Double Battle in dark grass, the player may choose which of the two Pokémon they would like to catch.
--While not exactly a definite rule, the general consensus is that players must also nickname all of their Pokémon, for the sake of forming stronger emotional bonds.
--Also not a definite rule, but the general consensus is that a black out/white out is considered to be "game over", even if there are Pokémon left in the PC.
--Strongly implied, though not explicitly mentioned in the comic, is the stipulation that the player can use only Pokémon they have captured themselves, meaning traded Pokémon, mystery gifts, etc., are prohibited. Trading and retrading the same Pokémon (for the purpose of evolving a Golem, for example) is something of a gray area, and may fall under optional rules. As of White: Hard-Mode Episode 3, it is implied that the player can accept Pokémon that are received freely from NPCs.
--Also strongly implied is a prohibition against voluntarily resetting and reloading the game when things go wrong. Being able to do so would render all of the other rules pointless. I'll update as I go on, just as I was doing before. Badges: Current Location: Santalune City Current Team:

I'm hoping for the best at the moment! But I don't want to go in too over confident. Tend to do that a little too much.

After getting my starter, Ben Froaklin, I had made the decision not to take chances. I've been level grinding to high levels to be prepared for trainers and gyms ahead. I've also taken the time to play with each of my Pokemon as much as I can to get EXP. Boost so they will be better prepared as the game highly encourages this with ridiculously higher leveled trainers later in the game.
With that plan in mind, I struck forward and started my game.
The first few Pokemon I caught were listed as Pandora and Nineve. Even though I had never really used either in a full game, I'm pretty excited to try them and am rather pleased with how they progressed. They're very strong Pokemon and have quite a bit of potential.
Veyu has surprised me and become a bit of a rock to the team. He single handedly took Santalune City Gym and beat most of the trainers as well as the gym leader on his own. Aerial Ace is a boss move and I'm loving that he can use it so soon.
At the moment, I'm continuing level grinding. I'd like to get Nineve to evolve but I'm less worried about her now. She can take a few hits without my getting too alarmed. Navi needs to be trained as well before I head into Lumiose City and challenge Sycamore.
I have no idea what Kanto starter I'm going to choose this time around. But you'll find out soon enough!
