| "Commander Erwin...The higher ups are ready. The trial will begin soon..." Ashaani stood at attention in the doorway to the room they assigned Commander Erwin Smith. A man Ashaani was utterly devoted to as her ranking officer in the Scouting Legion. Though she knew the man briefly on a personal level, Ashaani devoted her life to him and the Survey Corps, ready to give her life for the better of humanity if he so ordered.
The Commander was known for not giving a second thought to sacrifice lives if it meant a victory for man kind. All it would take was one word and Ashaani would gladly obey.
It was the debt she owed to him. After all the man had spared her life on more than one occasion. Never the less her loyalty to the group, to her Commander, was almost unmatched.
"Commander..?" Ashaani slowly walked on into the room as her eyes watched the tall man. "Are you sure having this cadet join our recon mission is a good idea? If he can become a titan at will then it would be dangerous to just jump into the idea of him assisting us..." Ashaani rambled on with her doubts. It was a very rare thing for her to question Erwin's motives and even more rarely did he explain them to her.
"I'm sorry sir, it's just that we all have our doubts. Most of them are scared and I don't know how to comfort their thoughts." She looked out the window at her fellow comrades below before looking to Erwin for answers.

Levi stood leaning against a door in the room they had assigned him. The trial for cadet Eren Jager would be starting soon and he thought to himself as he sipped on the black tea in his cup. Samara was supposed to be here ten minutes ago and it wasn't like her to be late.
She was one of the few hand picked by Levi himself to join the Special operations force. The squad Levi was in charge of. She had shown admirable work in the field and in the classroom during her training and her ability to learn so quickly impressed Levi.
As well as her skills were Levi considered her to be second in command, leaving her in charge when he needs to take leave. She would need to join him and Erwin in the court room.
Wondering what could be taking so long he put his tea down and opened the door quietly. | |
