ACIII: Daniel Cross [SPOILERS]

So, I'm probably the only one here who gives a flying rat's ass about this guy but I must rant.

For quite awhile now, Ubisoft had been fleshing out this sleeper agent for the Templars on the net and in Assassin's Creed comics - The Fall and the Chain, I believe. Likewise we had been giving more and more information about Daniel Cross, the sleeper agent, via Assassin's Creed Initiates.

We find out that he had been so exposed to the Animus that he was worse off than Clay Kaczmarek or Desmond Miles. He had to take medication to quell the hallucinations, he did drugs and he even killed his girlfriend in a bleeding effect induced hallucination before being taken in by Assassins, betraying them and running off to be a Templar.

Likewise Ubisoft had been holding Daniel Cross up on a pedestal as the face of the Templar front!

So who else here was super disappointed when each time you see him in Assassin's Creed II he's easily punked out the first time you run into him and than at the end?

You got one awesome fist fight with the guy and then the third time you run into him again with the modern Assassins after that he starts tripping mad balls and you just give chase and punk him out with the hidden blade. How anti climactic?

I don't know about anyone else but after all the hyper and development with Daniel Cross I was really disappointed with the lack of a strong story in the game tying him further into it before he just gets punked out.
