[InuYasha/AC] Time After Time [1 - on - 1]

Things were quiet for the most part. She didn't so much mind. The days that had passed had left her mind either completely clear or muddled. There were still times she yearned for home. Garret had been good company and she quite liked being around him.

Ilana could feel his eyes on her. On occasion, she felt him watching her. He'd done that recently, especially when they were traveling. When it had been out in the wilderness, she figured he was merely keeping an eye on her. Now...well maybe there was another reason?

Toying with the idea left her stomach flip flopping. Ilana brushed it off for a moment, sparing a glance his way. She smiled as he spoke to the man named Edwin. It was an odd bit of banter but one that she was happy to see.

Ilana toyed with her hair. It was getting longer, slowly at that but it would get there in time. She would be able to cut the blue out, leaving only her natural hair color behind. It was a bit of a shame to know she wouldn't be able to dye it again.

"Well that's something, at least," she finally said, "It's nice our here though, quiet. Reminds me of home."

Of course, there were certain aspects of home that would never be captured here. The quiet though, that was something that she'd always quite liked.

Kōga had been comfortable most of the night despite the chill around them. Admittedly, he did feel comfortable pressed near Sachiko. She had slept a little more comfortably after he had gotten close to her. He was glad that he had helped in some way.

He had dozed once again, half awake just in case something happened. When she moved, Kōga knew that she was rousing. Kōga glanced over his shoulder, watching her as she tried to figure out where she was. It was a moment after did she glance at him.

Kōga cleared his throat, pressing himself up. His friends were still asleep. Best leave them as such for the travels ahead. Instead, Kōga focused on Sachiko.

He couldn't deny his cheeks warming a little before he spoke, "Sorry. You looked like you were having some trouble sleeping. It was a little cold last night."

Sachiko needed some warmth eventually. They would take care of clothing soon. After all, they would travel to colder places eventually too.

"I didn't mean to...make you uncomfortable or anything," he replied after a moment, "I mean...if I did. I hope that's not the case."
